JOB OVERVIEW: Construction Project Manager with steel structures experience sought by market leading engineering company. Salary negotiable depending on experience and proven track record but as a guide C£40K-£45K plus fully expensed company car, bonus, pension plus other benefits. Location - near Maidstone, Kent with some occasional travel around the UK and Europe THE COMPANY; My client is a very established and continually growing structural steelwork solutions provider to a global customer base. They are a respected leader in the delivery of high-quality customised steelwork solutions to leading organisations across a wide variety of industries. My client focuses on innovation via their designated Research & Development Centre and have current design and manufacturing capabilities across Europe. THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITY As a result of a focus on profitable growth my client seeks a steel structures experienced construction Project Manager with a background in dealing with commercial construction projects of c£1m. My client will also consider a Quantity Surveyor with relevant experience who wishes to transition more into Project Management. My client is increasing their work load with integrators in 2020 and you'll be working on projects with the likes of "Amazon". You'll: - be responsible for multiple, simultaneous projects, across geographical locations, all at varying stages of the project lifecycle. - ensure that each project is managed to ensure the (1) safety of end solution and delivery, (2) quality, using best practise maintain high standards throughout, (3) programme focus to meet milestones and objectives on time, (4) cost, continuous focus on budgets to appreciate when action needs to be taken to maintain position. - have direct responsibility for contract delivery planning, programming of works, carrying out site meetings, procurement of labour and materials, and project handover CANDIDATE PROFILE: You MUST be closely aligned to the following: - steel structures experienced construction Project Manager with a background in dealing with commercial construction projects of C£1m OR Quantity Surveyor with some project management skills looking to transition into Project Management. - possess good quantity surveying skills - ideally possessing degree level education, preferably in Engineering or Sciences. - SMSTS accredited - Full driving license - ability to manage multiple projects at one time and to lead and effectively deliver against targets WHAT'S ON OFFER; -This is a fantastic opportunity for a true innovative market leader enjoying fantastic ongoing growth - The chance to join a highly established proven market leader who continually invest in their solutions via R&D to stay ahead of the competition - A comprehensive learning and development program - An excellent hard working but fun environment - A highly competitive basic salary plus benefits package If you are a good match then please send a CV immediately to learn more about this excellent career opportunity!
