Team Co-ordinator Due to my clients continued growth and success, they are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join a friendly and busy team. Working as part of the Aftercare and Maintenance team you will be responsible for taking phone calls from occupiers and customers and booking in appointments. You will be well organised and have a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills are essential as the role will involve communicating with occupiers, homeowners and clients. Ideally you will be customer focused preferably with a mechanical and electrical based customer service / maintenance helpdesk background. Basic responsibilities, tasks and duties will include: * Receiving and making call to occupiers, homeowners, clients and engineers * Arranging and allocating services, small works, PPM and reactive appointments * Using a CAFM system to assign engineers, issue quotes, raise purchase orders and invoices * Consistent delivery of SLA’s and KPI’s * Carrying out other administration duties Knowledge and Skills required: * Must be IT literate and able to use Microsoft packages to a good standard * Must have an excellent telephone manner * Be able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, both written and verbally within the business and externally, * Be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team, * Be able to work effectively and accurately, * Be able to work to deadlines and prioritise work load, * Be positive, enthusiastic and approachable. Full training will be given on our CAFM system.. Salary – Dependant on experience Hours of work are 08.00 – 17.00 Monday – Thursday and 08.00 – 16.00 on Friday’s

Are you passionate about creating innovative, elegant and robust digital engineering solutions for complex construction projects? My client is looking for a Revit MEP Technician for a 8 -12 week contract. The Role * Producing detailed, service models to a high level of detail * Working closely with the Senior Technician and MEP team to deliver high quality BIM projects to agreed deadlines * Providing guidance and advice to design Engineers on the planning and management of advanced Revit techniques * Quality control of BIM models and associated drawings, schedules etc * Reviewing project BIM BEP’s and EIR’s and ensuring requirements implemented in design process * Liaising with members of the design team to assist with resolving coordination issues * Assisting in the development of systems and procedures to ensure that the BIM system is used effectively * Developing sketches and concepts into drawing details with a good understanding of the engineering practices behind them Proven capability with Autodesk Revit MEP software. * A proactive approach to your own learning and technical development * A keen interest in the implementation of digital design tools and scripting to improve efficiency and workflows * Be capable of working independently or with minimal supervision * Experience and awareness of Navisworks and/or Dynamo would be advantageous. * Ideally HNC, HND, or BEng in relevant discipline

Senior Mechanical Design Engineer required for leading Birmingham Contractor Operating for almost 20 years, my client has been providing high quality Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Design services for the built environment. Based from their offices in Birmingham, they are involved in the following sectors: * Commercial * Education * Healthcare * Leisure * Listed Buildings * Residential * Retail * Transport Due to an increase in demand for their services they are looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to replace a long serving engineer who is leaving the industry. It is imperative you have worked as a desgn engineer for both a contractor and a consultancy. You will be a key part of the delivery team and will be required to manage your own technical input, as well as that of others, and to demonstrate your understanding of the role that your work plays in the delivery of the projects as a whole. You will need an understanding of the financial and commercial considerations that affect project delivery, and be able to provide accurate and relevant reports on progress of the work against time and budgetary targets, together with being responsible for invoicing respective projects with the accounts department. You must be: * A competent designer with experience in the Mechanical service design of a range of projects and sectors. * Degree qualified (or close to achieving qualification) in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical discipline. * Chartered status (or looking to start the process) through IMechE, CIBSE or MIEI * Competent design software and IT skills * Experience of mentoring junior staff

You will be instrumental in increasing the energy performance of commercial buildings and reducing their carbon use and operating costs. As a well-established building services consultancy, you'll enjoy working in their modern, bright and spacious office conveniently located to both road and rail transport links. You'll benefit from being involved in detailed mechanical design, commissioning and site surveys. You will also have structured support from the team of hands on Associates, Principals and Seniors. With at least two years' experience in building services you'll already have a good understanding of most HVAC services such as fan coils, VAV, VRF/VRV, chilled beam air conditioning systems, fresh air supply and extract systems and knowledge of passive design and renewable energy options. Any IES modelling experience would be beneficial to help with work within the feasibility and sustainability side of the design process. This role has been created due to a solid pipeline of new work stretching through January 2021 and will provide you with the opportunity of working on some prestigious design projects. Requirements * Previous experience in the design of HVAC systems. * Previous residential, mixed use and commercial, office project experience including base build and also CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects. * Able to work in a team to achieve common goals
