The successful Design Manager will be responsible for:
Overseeing the general running of the CAD department whilst training and supporting the CAD technicians
Assigning tasks and managing the workflow of the CAD department, ensuring dead-lines are met
Liaising with the Commercial Director regarding the design and specification for individual projects
Assisting with material procurement
Defining the project specifications and requirements against quotation and cost plan
Arranging and attending initial design meetings
Cross check and sign off drawing details to ensure compatibility
Compiling O&M manual information
Issuing official documentation/test results to clientsRequirements:
The successful Design Manager will have:
Experience of managing a design department
Extensive experience of GA/construction drawings
Experience working in the Construction industry
Excellent attention to detail
Any experience of glazing, cladding or facades would be an advantageApply

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:
Ensuring job portfolio and cash flow is managed, that work is correctly valued and applied in a timely manner both through interim applications and preparation of Final Account.
Managing and tracking client variations, to ensure work is brought into programme, that the additional work is managed with the subcontractors and that profitability is maintained.
Reviewing and amending client contracts in order to manage risk both at inception and through the duration of the contract, ensuring the contract is in line with estimates.
Maintaining relationships with clients to ensure fair valuation of works and agreed contracts.
Sending out enquiries on forthcoming works, to establish all subcontracts needed to complete works within budget, to manage the contract and the budget throughout the duration of the contract. To maintain subcontractor relationship, to value their works and issue timely Payment Certificates in line with agreed payment structure. To manage subcontractor portfolio to ensure subcontractors are resourced to complete works.
Understand the basis of the scope of the contract and the pricing basis, to ensure work is completed within budget, to do monthly cost reports and identify risks to profitability.
Working with the installation manager to review and manage in house labour allocation.
Ensure subcontractors are notified of defective works and that costs are allocated to their accounts where applicable.Requirements:
The successful Quantity Surveyor will have:
Previously worked as a Quantity Surveyor within the glazing or construction industry
Exceptional attention to detail
Confident dealing with internal and external personnel of all levels
Ability to hold your ground and offer reasoned advice in a fast paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficient IT Skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office packagesApply
