Compass Resourcing are currently looking for a labourer to work on a temporary basis in Godalming starting asap however for approximately 2 weeks until the start of september. Work is to be completed on a school refurbishment and and will be primarily demolition work. The work will starting at 7am working until 7pm. Rates of pay will be £10 per hour via PAYE company up to £13.50 via an umbrella company dependent on chosen payment method. No expenses payable. Previous experience of completing Labourer is a must and must be able to provide recent working references of doing so. Compass Resourcing are currently looking for 2-4 Joiners to work on temporary contract for approximately 1 month on a school refurbishment in Halifax starting Monday 17/08. Work will include fitting Alumimum Windows. Work will be Monday to Friday working 7am - 5pm paid 45 hours per week. Candidates must have a valid CSCS, PASMA & IPAF. If candidates work in a pair it is fine if only one of the candidates has the PASMA & IPAF. Rate of pay can be paid either via LTD company or via CIS. Rate of pay can be on an hourly basis at £16.50 per hour or a price per window can be organised. Compass Resourcing is currently recruiting for a freelance Project/Site Manager who can deliver a £3 million new build residential apartment project in Harrogate. The project is in its very early stages and requires a No1 Manager on site to deliver the construction through to completion in around April 2021. The client is a Yorkshire based main contractor who work on new build and refurbishment projects of between £1 million and £8 million in value. Their projects include commercial offices, schools, hospitals, hotels and retail parks. The Project Manager will be No1 on site and will have full responsibility of the project, reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager. You will preferably have a trades or engineering background and at least 15 years of construction industry experience with 5 years or more managing projects. Preferably you will have worked for a large main contractor on similar sized projects. Applicants should have the following skills and qualifications: - Relevant experience in new build construction and refurbishment projects - Personable with good customer / client skills - IT literate (Microsoft office) - CSCS - SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme) - First Aid - Be driven and able to work on your own initiative - Be prepared to go the extra mile in order to get the project completed on time and to budget Standard site working hours - 8.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday This is an on-going temporary position which is required ASAP All Health & Safety risks will be covered in induction. Our client is based in Halifax and is a leader in the fit out of student accommodation and private rented apartment projects nationwide. They deal with the full interior fit-out including bedroom fitting, kitchen fitting, bathroom installation, flooring, skirting boards, doors and furniture installation. They are currently recruiting for a Site Foreman to supervise the site and installation teams in delivering projects on time, to spec and within budget. You will report to a Project Manager and must be organised and a good communicator. Preferrably candidates will be able to manage works themselves when required, but will also be able to be hand’s on and get on the tools whenever necessary. The company are based in West Yorkshire and have plenty of new work coming up. They work on projects nationwide so applicants must be willing to work away. Compass Resourcing is currently recruiting a Quality Manager on a temporary contract for a highly regarded construction fit-out main contractor to work on a project at the nuclear base at Barrow in Furness. The project is a £3.5 million commercial fit-out and refurbishment project including a new build extension on an NEC contract. The quality manager will compose and maintain the ITP document. The document needs to be crossed with drawings, specification and certificates. Ensuring that client inspections are done and signed off. Interfacing with the client and dealing with delivery notes and compliance certificates. They use a manual system on the project so there is a lot of paperwork requiring LTQR – lifetime quality records. Preferably candidates will have previous experience of the nuclear industry and ITP experience. Previous experience of NEC contract would be an advantage. Qualifications required: CSCS Card and First Aid Working days / hours: Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm This is a temporary position which is required until the project is completed in approximately August/September 2020 Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience All Health & Safety risks will be covered in induction.
