* Control and monitor activities of site personnel /subcontractors.
* Ensure hours worked are monitored and risk assessments undertaken where necessary.
* Undertake site safety monitoring and inspection and actions arising are implemented in appropriate timescales.
* Monitor costs associated with Labour, Plant and Material and report weekly.
* Effective client communication for contract changes and technical issues – maintain agreed project controls.
* Shall continually develop safe practices to ensure maximum safety for all.
* Must familiarise themselves with the Company Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy and ensure that all staff and sub-contractors under their control fully understand and observe all aspects of the Company’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications
A minimum of 6 years’ experience at a supervisory level (HND/ NVQ Level 4 in construction).

* Site Manager’s Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS – 5 day CITB Course).
* Diploma or BSc in Construction Management.
