Project Manager - Architectural Metal Salary £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience Permanent position Our client is one of the leading fabrications and installation companies, providing structural and architectural metal work for the construction industry. We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join a forward-thinking company, with the opportunity to grow and progress within the role. The ideal candidate must have steel industry experience. Responsibilities Coordinate the Design, Production & Installation of Projects Fully understand the project requirements/scope of works/specifications etc ITP & handover's to be managed Liaise with clients, site team and engineers Manage a team of Site Managers ensuring completion of successful projects to their clients Liaise with the company buyer, workshop and QS's successfully working as a team. Draughtsman/Steel Detailer Salary - £25,000 - £35,000 Per Annum - Negotiable dependent on experience Permanent position Our client is one of the leading fabrications and installation companies providing structural and architectural metal work for the construction industry. We are looking for an experienced Steel Detailer to join their team in Wilden. Car driver essential due to company location. The ideal candidate will already have experience using modern software packages. Responsibilities & Duties * Read & understand drawings by Structural Engineers and Architects * Site Surveys * 3D CAD Modelling using Advance Steel of structural and architectural steelwork such as portal frames, mezzanine floors, staircases and balustrading. * General Assembly drawings * Assembly and part drawings * Liaising with clients, structural engineers, architects and fabricators * Raising RFIs for missing information * Noting changes in design information and raising variation of services Experience & Qualifications * Experience as a steel detailer essential * Trained in modern software packages * Experience in/with the fabrication industry * Using hand measurement tools such as lasers to measure site * Comfortable surveying on site - CSCS card holder advantageous Response Personnel, an independently owned company and experts in recruitment since 1997. Design Coordinator Salary £30,000 - £40,000 dependent on experience Permanent position Our client is one of the leading fabrications and installation companies, providing structural and architectural metal work for the construction industry. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Design Coordinator to join a growing company and build a design department around them. The ideal candidate must have steel industry experience. Responsibilities Managing design programmes Document upload to varying system using document protocol. Quality checking all drawing prior to uploaded and release to production and installation. Liaise with external designers ensuring all information is provided. This releases any blockers offering the workshop and installations drawing in advance, to help programme requirement and manage a steady flow of work. Build a design department, resourcing internal and external options. Attend design meetings. Attend face to face meetings with customers.Skills / Qualifications Professional and proactive approach Excellent communicator Advance Steel experience, would be beneficial to allow minor amendments of drawings Trained in modern software packages Strong organisational and coordinating skills Response Personnel, an independently owned company and experts in recruitment since 1997.
