Comissioning Engineer £35,000 - £40,000 (OTE £55,000 - £60,000) Whitby and North East Area My client are part of an international group seeking an electrically biased commissioning engineer to join their team in the North East. A back gorund in a heavy industrial industry such as oil and gas, marine or mining would be advantageous. Skills *Electrical time served or qualified engineer *PLC fault finding and ideally programming experience *Commissioning knowledge *Experience with breakdowns and working on site Key Responsibilities *Commissioning of Electrical equipment, LV switchgear, Motor Control Centres, PLC panels and supporting commissioning of functionally *Service and breakdown of equipment with electrical focus/bias. *Quarterly/Annual inspections and Testing (initially of equipment commissioned) *Site based support for PLC and electrical issues. *Design and software for small projects, with design office support as required

Main Responsibilities As our Head of SHEQ you will; Provide strategic direction to and support all areas of the business in SHE related issues, continually reviewing statutory and standards requirements and identifying changes applicable to the business to ensure industry leading performance. Lead and manage the SHEQ team, mentoring and developing SHE personnel & quality assurance team (8 heads) Attend Senior Management meetings on a monthly basis presenting SHEQ performance, changes in legislation, standards and industry initiatives. Produce SHEQ quarterly reports for the Managing Director. Set SHE KPI’s and continually strive to improve SHE performance. Be responsible for managing SHEQ budgets.
