RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a local council to recruit a Works Supervisor. £27,905 - £30,507 FTE per annum 37 hours per week Full Time Permanent Ref: EE8694 We have an exciting opportunity to build on the successful and progressive Highway Delivery Team within Environment to Help ensure that the Environment is safe, clean, green now and in the future Initially operating from either Hatch Pond Depot or Southcote Road Depot we require skilled and experienced Works Supervisors to assist in the improvement and maintenance of our Highways infrastructure. The successful candidates will take a lead on and oversee the completion of various works sites around the conurbation, being a focal point of all aspects for major/minor works sites, liaising with third parties and suppliers and supporting both the operations teams on the ground and management. The role will involve in depth technical meetings and the successful candidates will require knowledge of Microsoft Office products. A proven history of delivering successful footway and carriageway construction schemes is expected, as is an in depth background of managing maintenance and other highway related activities (examples: high speed traffic management, laying and repair of surfacing, kerbing, installation of Pipework and ducting, signage, vehicle restraint barriers and out of hours and emergency works). Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act, Safe working practices and NRSWA would be expected. A full UK drivers licence is an essential requirement of the post. Interested? Don't hesitate! RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a flooring specialist in their search for experienced Floor Layers. Must be fully versatile with all types of floor covering within the construction, shipping, and domestic areas. Applicants must have skills in fitting all types of carpets vinyl's, screeds, cove/cap, the laying of resin screeds would be an advantage. Training on resin screeds can be given. As a Driveway Installation Specialist, you'll need the ability to advise customers from concept to completion, including explaining technical details to clients throughout the lifetime of the job. You'll need to comfortable with the full end-to-end process of driveway installation from scoping out the original plans, communicating the job to the team and laying the bricks. Customer engagement skills are essential and you will be required to update and liaise with the clients regularly throughout the installation process. The ideal candidate will be multi-skilled in all aspects of Driveway Installation including the use of a Digger. You'll need to have a full driving licence.
