Site Operative Trafford, Manchester Monday - Friday Permanent £10.37ph My client are an established Waste Management company working nationally. An opportunity has arisen for a Site Operative to join their team on a permanent basis. Key responsibilities: To operate the plant processes following company operating procedures. Manual sorting of various packaged hazardous wast To actively participate in the improvement of site housekeeping standards by dealing with issues within personal span of control immediately and reporting all other issues to site management.e streams. To co-operate with site management in improving Treatment plants operating standards and adopt fully flexible approach to all the site tasks on which training has been given. Report defects immediately to the plant manager. Assist drivers with unloading/loading of vehicles.You should have: Good general level of education to GCSE standard. IT Literate useful. Flexible and co-operative attitude and approach. Ability to work in a team or individually. Experience on use of Forklift advantageous. Location: Petersfield Job Title: Shipping Manager Salary: Based on experience c£30-£35K Description Overall responsibility for shipping / documentary operations and to ensure smooth shipping and documentary progression of files at all stages from prior til completion of shipment and file closure. Chasing BLs, etc and loading requests where allocated Managing suppliers / customers shipping schedules and providing periodic updates as required. Long terms contractors particularly require regular updates. Liaise with forwarders, lines etc + rates Assist with payments and supplier entry, bookings with shipping/logistics administrator CCIC / PSCI inspections Import / export regulations. Ensure up to date, filed and good knowledge of requirements. Perhaps looking after BL switches with shipping lines. Warrant shipments (ex LME) - managing and controlling loading / outbound shipments and invoicing. Report on status, ensure everything is covered / up to date Draft docs going out vs draft BLs. This is the proper confirmed schedule . With the exception of certain trades we are engaged.
