You must also liaise with the Contracts Manager and Area Housing Teams staff on the performance of repairs and completion dates and assist with the identification of repair work not attributable to normal wear and tear and take photographic evidence and when necessary, to arrange the cost of such repair to be recharged, to monitor and report on contractual KPI’s.
With experience of managing a repairs service and in the inspection of repairs, including measurement and specifications of works and post inspections, you must demonstrate the ability to improve service and performance and be capable of using IT systems, including Microsoft office software in particular Outlook, Word and Excel.
Experience within a social housing/construction environment is required.

We now have an opportunity for a Bricklayer to join us to provide a comprehensive bricklaying service to domestic and commercial properties.
Taking down and rebuilding or building as new, brick or block walls, you will identify and rectify defects in brickwork; cutting out brickwork, clean out the cavity and reinstate brickwork as required.
Preparing and laying concrete footings for brickwork and removing and relaying concrete paths, you must lift and renew paving stones and renew concrete floors, including excavation.
You will also be expected to liaise with customers when arranging and carrying out work, having full regard to their needs and working from written and verbal instructions, including drawings, diagrams, sketches, calculations using measuring equipment where appropriate.
Competent in all aspects of the bricklaying trade discipline and with experience in the delivery of goods and materials and removal and disposal of debris, you will be capable of working at heights and able to work as part of a team. A current driving licence is essential.Skilled workers will hold an CSCC card, have asbestos awareness and their own tools.
