Taylor Hopkinson has a fantastic opportunity for a Pathways to Growth Co-ordination Group Manager to coordinate and lead the resolution to the P2G barriers within the UK's offshore wind sector deal. Role The barriers to consents and licencing in offshore wind are complicated and involve numerous stakeholders, sometimes across different jurisdictions and with conflicting priorities. The role holder will require to have a good understanding of the issues, be independent and well connected with all stakeholders. Be required to have comprehensive project management and communication skills. Have good relationships with representatives from the UK, and devolved Governments/Authorities, SNCBS, regulatory bodies in offshore wind consenting, industry bodies/associations, TCE, CES, NGOs and Developers. Be able to understand the significance of strategic consenting issues. Have excellent leadership skills with a senior group of experts and experience of facilitating workshops and meetings. Be responsible for working collaboratively with the experts from the P2G Coordination Group to agree and create the action plans to resolve the barriers. Communicate the relevant parts of the plans ensuring a thorough understanding of the plan, its implications on budget (if necessary), delivery dates, resources and deliverables. Be responsible for selecting the appropriate experts in the Coordination Group to work in sub groups to resolve barriers. Communicate and escalate issues to the different P2G group structures as appropriate. Requirements Strong understanding of offshore wind industry with +5 years experience. Experience of working in a strategic Government led Working Group with a common goal and participants who have differing interests. Experience of UK and devolved Governement/Authorities, Local Government, Development Agency or similar organisation/sectors. Excellent interpersonal, consultancy and client liaison skills. Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal). Excellent organisational and planning skills. Strategic midset and the ability to focus on strategic issues. Location Given the current situation with COVID-19 it is expected that initially all work will be done remotely, while working at home and all meetings will be done virtually (i.e. not face to face). In the future there may be some need to travel for meetings. Post pandemic, the offices available are London, Reading, Glasgow and Perth

We are looking for a Project Health & Safety Manager in Taiwan to lead the project's H&S work process in accordance with their project management system and project delivery model. Relocation to Taiwan is required. Role Execute H&S activities related to early phase survey and monitoring activities. Assist Project Manager on H&S in stakeholder activities. Promoting an H&S culture and define/implement site specific H&S programmes and plans. Providing coaching and assistance to team and others with regard to the implementation of company H&S Standards, statutory requirements, industry standards, and best practice. Establishes activities and plans to monitor H&S activities supporting the overall H&S programme including, H&S audits, inspections, reviews and H&S assessments. Establish and implement H&S requirements in ITT processes for contracts in line with the contract strategy. Follow up of the marine operations and installation contracts Ensures H&S compliance of sub-contractor/vendor at site, supported by the Site Management Team. Plan and support a program for H&S training, motivation and further competency development for site personnel ensure site H&S training programmes are implemented Provides monthly H&S Management report. Ensure that monthly reports from contractors / suppliers give the necessary information to client on H&S matters for them to perform their own H&S reporting. Ensure input from operations.Requirements Master / university degree in engineering or equivalent. Health, Safety and Environment specialist competence within relevant areas. Good knowledge of H&S regulations and international standards. Significant experience within H&S management from execution of large-scale offshore wind projects. Good knowledge of H&S work processes on construction work sites. Practical experience from execution of offshore wind projects. Role The Engineering department is the technical know-how centre and home of technical competences within BA Wind, setting the standards and guidelines as well as being embedded within our projects to drive technical excellence through the whole project lifecycle. Working within the System & Maintenance Engineering department of Engineering, the Data Engineer is responsible for the management and provision of data, as well as the standardisation of the data and documentation for the full (offshore) wind farm asset life cycle. The Integrity - and Data Engineering team is the driver for digitalization in Offshore Engineering. Provide set-up of data pipelines through various projects Manage data integrity monitoring Offer trainings and share knowledge with stakeholders. Requirements Academic background in engineering and/or IT with experience in applicable area. Technical and/or operational background within offshore wind or related industry preferred. Our client is looking for a Senior Contract Manager to join their offshore windfarm project in Taiwan. Ideal candidate would have a QS background and significant offshore wind experience. Relocation to Taiwan is required. Role Reporting to the Contract Director, you would be working alongside the Deputy EPC Director and be primarily responsible for the contract management in relation to the foundation supply, transport and installation. Your primary goal would be to protect the best interests of the project and ensure successful delivery of the scope in your responsibility and support the wider contract management team in delivering a successful project. Specific responsibility: responsible for foundation package: fabrication and installation (T&I) contract management and requirements; To consult daily with team members, the EPC Director, and the Contract Director about the contractual and commercial position of the project; Discuss strategy with the Package Manager, Contract Director, EPC Director and CEO, if required; Assess consequences of (technical) decisions by team members and define actions; Pro-actively avoid unexpected claims; Take active part in the resolution of all commercial and contractual issues/disputes for all contracts. Advice the package manager, Contract Director, EPC Director and CEO, if required, to write and send letters. Draft all outgoing letters in relation to signed foundation related subcontracts. Maintaining an adequate administration of all contract notifications (by the contractor representative and the employer (Engineer)), variations and claims. Make sure the foundation package team and the contractor teams are acting in accordance with contractual terms and conditions and review outgoing formal project correspondence if deemed necessary. If required actively challenge all team members including the Contract Director, EPC Director and CEO. The Contracts Manager has the 'right to disagree´. Final responsibility remains with the EPC Director and CEO.Requirements Proven experience in offshore installation projects (oil & gas and/or renewables). Experience with offshore wind projects would be an advantage. Expert in advising on Contract Performance and Contract Clause Interpretation Experience of Claims Negotiation, Arbitration and Dispute resolution. Expert in FIDIC contracts, especially yellow book and modified yellow book contracts Experience with non-recourse project finance Knowledge of Insurance requirements and claims in construction contracts. An Offshore Substation Client Representative is required to work for a leading Wind Farm developer on an Offshore Wind farm in Scotland. Role The Electrical Team is responsible for the engineering, construction and installation of the transmission and distribution network. As the project progresses to the offshore construction phase, there is a requirement to form a site team to manage the offshore hook-up and commissioning of the 3 Offshore Substations The client requires Client Representatives to manage the works of multiple contractors on the OSP and interface with the marine coordination team to aid them in carrying out the Principal Contracting duties. The site team will support the Package Lead and represent the Client at site to ensure their objectives are being met.Responsibilities To write DPR's/Weekly Reporting and submit to package team. Work closely with and provide support to the Offshore Substation Site Manager to prioritise critical path works and steer the electrical completion of the OSP Maintain records of progress, climatic conditions and daily events. Reviewing RAMS and maintaining site records. Coordination of works on the OSP between multiple Contractors Conduct Toolbox talks and daily briefings Coordinate Lift operations with JUV Liaise and Coordinate with Site management over PC responsibilities Contribute to Daily Vessel movement and SIMOPs Dial ins Ensuring that works are proceeding in accordance with RAMS and Contract Procedures. Witness any tests or completions as required by the package team. Produce minutes from daily co-ordination meeting and distribute them to the team. Produce minutes from weekly welfare meetings and distribute to the team Feed into the Punch list process. Participate fully in the achievement of team goals by bringing ideas, opinions and experience to the team voluntarily, whilst listening to and respecting the views of others.Requirements HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3 in an Engineering discipline or time served Apprenticeship is essential. A Geophysical Client Representative is required by our client to work on an Offshore Wind Farm project in the US. Responsibilities Representation of client's interests. Monitoring Contractor Compliance with Project Execution Plan, Policies (Health & Safety, Environmental and Security), Employers Requirements and other relevant documentation. Perform vessel / equipment Health & Safety inspections, toolbox talks, safety walks or other health and safety related activities as required and at the request of Client. Ensuring Daily Progress Reports are accurate, complete, submitted and signed and comments made as applicable in relation to operational and commercial issues including standby time (breakdown and weather). Attending project meetings, pre-and post-vessel operations as reasonably required. Reviewing Contractor documentation and reports prior to and during operations. Representing Client at kick-off meetings and for the duration of the main survey scope of works. Coordination of activities and communication between contractor and client staff onshore. Coordination and sequencing of survey data collection and exploration location priorities. Review and reporting of contractor's operations, progress, HSE efforts, etc. Preliminary evaluation of geophysical data (MBES, SSS, Gradiometer, sub-bottom profiler & multi-channel, ultra-high-resolution seismic reflection data, grab sampling) quality. Evaluation of geophysical data acquisition completeness.
