Taylor Hopkinson has a fantastic opportunity for a Pathways to Growth Co-ordination Group Manager to coordinate and lead the resolution to the P2G barriers within the UK's offshore wind sector deal. Role The barriers to consents and licencing in offshore wind are complicated and involve numerous stakeholders, sometimes across different jurisdictions and with conflicting priorities. The role holder will require to have a good understanding of the issues, be independent and well connected with all stakeholders. Be required to have comprehensive project management and communication skills. Have good relationships with representatives from the UK, and devolved Governments/Authorities, SNCBS, regulatory bodies in offshore wind consenting, industry bodies/associations, TCE, CES, NGOs and Developers. Be able to understand the significance of strategic consenting issues. Have excellent leadership skills with a senior group of experts and experience of facilitating workshops and meetings. Be responsible for working collaboratively with the experts from the P2G Coordination Group to agree and create the action plans to resolve the barriers. Communicate the relevant parts of the plans ensuring a thorough understanding of the plan, its implications on budget (if necessary), delivery dates, resources and deliverables. Be responsible for selecting the appropriate experts in the Coordination Group to work in sub groups to resolve barriers. Communicate and escalate issues to the different P2G group structures as appropriate. Requirements Strong understanding of offshore wind industry with +5 years experience. Experience of working in a strategic Government led Working Group with a common goal and participants who have differing interests. Experience of UK and devolved Governement/Authorities, Local Government, Development Agency or similar organisation/sectors. Excellent interpersonal, consultancy and client liaison skills. Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal). Excellent organisational and planning skills. Strategic midset and the ability to focus on strategic issues. Location Given the current situation with COVID-19 it is expected that initially all work will be done remotely, while working at home and all meetings will be done virtually (i.e. not face to face). In the future there may be some need to travel for meetings. Post pandemic, the offices available are London, Reading, Glasgow and Perth

Good knowledge of H&S regulations and international standards. Significant experience within H&S management from execution of large-scale offshore wind projects. Good knowledge of H&S work processes on construction work sites. Practical experience from execution of offshore wind projects. Result oriented, structured and flexible with ability to work both in teams as well as independently. Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Relocation to Taiwan is essential

Our client is looking for a Senior Contract Manager to join their offshore windfarm project in Taiwan. Ideal candidate would have a QS background and significant offshore wind experience. Relocation to Taiwan is required. Role Reporting to the Contract Director, you would be working alongside the Deputy EPC Director and be primarily responsible for the contract management in relation to the foundation supply, transport and installation. Your primary goal would be to protect the best interests of the project and ensure successful delivery of the scope in your responsibility and support the wider contract management team in delivering a successful project. Specific responsibility: responsible for foundation package: fabrication and installation (T&I) contract management and requirements; To consult daily with team members, the EPC Director, and the Contract Director about the contractual and commercial position of the project; Discuss strategy with the Package Manager, Contract Director, EPC Director and CEO, if required; Assess consequences of (technical) decisions by team members and define actions; Pro-actively avoid unexpected claims; Take active part in the resolution of all commercial and contractual issues/disputes for all contracts. Advice the package manager, Contract Director, EPC Director and CEO, if required, to write and send letters. Draft all outgoing letters in relation to signed foundation related subcontracts. Maintaining an adequate administration of all contract notifications (by the contractor representative and the employer (Engineer)), variations and claims. Make sure the foundation package team and the contractor teams are acting in accordance with contractual terms and conditions and review outgoing formal project correspondence if deemed necessary. Role The Electrical Team is responsible for the engineering, construction and installation of the transmission and distribution network.
