Position – Senior Engineer Based: Barrow in Furness – Freelance (10 months - Outside IR35) Reporting to: Project Manager/Senior Site Agent Client: Established Civil Engineering company that covers projects to a wide range of clients in both the public sector and the private sector, throughout the UK. Work on a variety of civil’s projects ranging from £500k to 20 Million in value. Key Areas of Responsibility Planning ahead and checking of works completed on a concrete/rebar project - 15 million - Participating in analysis of the permanent works design in advance of works in liaison with the Temporary Works requirements. Ideally have a strong record of delivery and knowledge of Temporary Works systems, preferably RC Framework. Ideally having worked both Main Contractor and Subcontractor environments (advantageous). Strong engineeering skill set required. Skills and Ability - Applicants will have a proven record on civil engineering projects including Structures (RC) concrete and rebar experience essential. - QA expereince essential - Essential qualified to HNC/Degree level - Applicants should hold a CSCS card and have at least 5 years site experience. - Excellent communications skills are essential, as is the ability to work under their own initiative. - A full driving licence is essential

Position – Senior Engineer (Temporary Works Engineer) Based: Barrow in Furness – Freelance (12 months) Reporting to: Project Manager/Senior Site Agent Client: Established Civil Engineering company that covers projects to a wide range of clients in both the public sector and the private sector, throughout the UK. Work on a variety of civil’s projects ranging from £500k to 10 Million in value. Key Areas of Responsibility - Management of site engineers & QA - Experience of Setting Out Foundations, levels, dips and holding down bolts; - Have a good understanding of CAD; - Reviewing plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations Communicate setting out control and provide information to assist with the construction of works - Experience of Temporary works - Record ‘as built’ information for Health & Safety File - Ensure setting out equipment is properly maintained and calibrated - Carry out pre-start OGL surveys with Survey Department Skills and Ability - Applicants will have a proven record of setting out on civil engineering projects including Structures (RC) deep drainage, highways and infrastructure - Ideally qualified to Graduate standard - Applicants should hold a CSCS card and have at least 5 years site experience. - Excellent communications skills are essential, as is the ability to work under their own initiative. - Temporary Works coordinator certificate required - Applicants will be conversant with all surveying instruments, co-ordinate setting out. - SMSTS and First Aid will be an advantage (not essential) - A full driving licence is essential

Position: Supervisor – Roofing Location: Cambridge and surrounding areas Client: My client has become a leading specialist in the building envelope, in particular roofing/building. They have a full order book and are expanding around the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Site Supervisor to work alongside the Site Manager. Skills & Responsibilities: * Liaise with clients and develop good business relationships * Ensure a steady flow of work is issued by the client(s) to maintain the site resource levels * Survey potential works and submit reports to the commercial department for pricing * Plan and be responsible for and co-ordinate site work in accordance with the instructions of the client and their Contracts Manager. Prepare the associated Site Works Plan(s) / Project Management Plan(s) * Organise and deliver associated pre-start briefings and ongoing toolbox talks, and be able to complete and submit the associated paperwork * Deliver in accordance with the programme for the site works and keep the Contracts Manager updated on progress * Complete all necessary documentation to allow works to start, i.e. ‘Site Specific Risk Assessment’, etc. * Deliver general toolbox talk training sessions and method statement briefings, and complete the associated paperwork * Manage all sub-contractors and site visitors and ensure their safety during works Experience * Experience in Roofing essential. * Multi skilled in all aspects of building/infrastructure * First Aid * Full clean driving licence * An understanding of relevant health & safety legislation * CSCS Supervisor Card * SSSTS * Good computer skills * Professional attitude and ability to operate without supervision * Capable of teaching and developing operatives

Position: Lead Mechanical Engineer Based: Burton Upon Trent Reporting to: Engineering & Design Manager Key Areas of Responsibility To ensure the timely and accurate delivery of project mechanical engineering deliverables and advice where requested, using ‘best practice’ and the expected level of teamwork and professionalism. Duties • To prepare engineering estimates for Mechanical Engineering scopes of work, when requested • To prepare and issue Mechanical Engineering deliverables, in line with the overall programme agreed with the PM and to review and comment on Mechanical Engineering deliverables prepared by other Engineers, typically BOM’s, GA’s, Layout and Hook-up Drawings, Heat Loss Calcs, Mechanical Equipment Lists and Specifications, Piping Line Lists and Isometrics, Vessel Schedules, Weld Procedures and similar • To review and contribute to Safety Reviews and attend client HAZOP Reviews, as required • To review and coordinate Mechanical Engineering deliverables from external parties; comment on and action amendments where necessary with relevant parties Qualifications & Skills * University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar qualification Knowledge and Experience. * Ideally 5 years’ Mechanical Engineering experience within Power or Waste to Energy industry, or a closely related industry working on capital plant Some knowledge of large mechanical / process plant, piping, ducting, rotating equipment, lifting, fastening, fixing and jointing techniques would be beneficial

Position: Freelance Planner (Civils) Role: You will be working within the civils on a large project based in Barrow in Furness. Looking for a civils Planner with both pre-construction and delivery experience. Whilst infrastructure and structures experience is preferred, we will consider Planners from a variety of sectors. As a Civils Planner, you will have the following accountabilities: * Responsible at tender stage to the Bid Manager for the range of activities involved in the project planning life cycle; * Ensuring that the programme content is functionally compliant with the planning procedures and guidance; * Identifying planning scope, major constraints and contract requirements; * Identifying major quantities and factors affecting the programme; * Establishing and agreeing with Operations construction outputs and agreeing working hours with appropriate Estimator; * Establishing and agreeing with Operations and Bid Team key methods of construction, sequencing, installation and commissioning; * Producing and documenting the planning deliverables including programmes, planning philosophy, presentations and reports.
