We have recently welcomed the second Shell Brent platform to our Able Seaton Port (ASP) in Hartlepool. We are currently looking for a Civils Estimator to join our dedicated team in Billingham. If you think you’d succeed as part of our forward-thinking organisation, we want to hear from you. The Role As a Civils Estimator, you will develop competitive, cost-effective tenders. Working as part of the Estimating Department, you’ll contribute to tenders involving deep drainage, electricity distribution, groundworks, sub-structures, structures, hard landscapes and piling. Some of your duties will include: - Developing an accurate value for complex civils schemes - Managing all stages of the tendering process - Helping to prepare pre-qualification questionnaires and quality statements - Attending meetings with clients, sub-contractors, senior management and other team members - Selecting and appointing sub-contractors About You To join us as a Civils Estimator, you’ll need: - At least five years’ construction experience - Previous experience as an estimator or in a similar role - Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels - To be self-motivated, proactive and flexible Ideally, you will have a minimum of five years’ experience as an estimator. Other organisations may call this role Estimator, Construction Estimator, Cost Estimator, Project Estimator, or Civil Engineering Estimator. This is a full-time role, working 8:00 – 17:00, Monday – Thursday and 8:00 – 16:00 on Fridays.
