We are seeking a motivated person to join our In-House Repairs Team to carry out roofing improvement works to our housing stock across the district. You will be joining a busy team which undertakes striping and replacing property roofs across a diverse range of occupied and vacant properties.
Essential Criteria:
5 years+ experience in strip and re-roofing on old and modern properties.
Knowledge and Experience of Dry Roofing.
Experience of working in a customer /tenant facing environment.
Desirable experience is new soffit and fascia's.
To undertake all works to the required standard in accordance with current regulations following the manufacturer's instructions.
Working to the required timescales.
To liaise with the Asset Management Support Team to ensure job activities are scheduled effectively.
To utilise all tools, accessories and equipment issued in an appropriate manner.
Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
Must hold a full driving license and supply own transport covered by business insurance
Training Required:
Working at Height
Manual Handling
Asbestos Awareness
Coshh Training
Up to date certificates must be available prior to start date.
Preference given to those with a trade qualification.

Reporting into the Accommodation Manager, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of our busy housekeeping function, supporting our dedicated team of Housekeepers and ensuring the smooth delivery of our customer services.
To be successful in this role experience in supervising a team within a fast-paced operation is essential, as is the ability to multitask and to be able to communicate effectively with a range of customers and staff.
You'll also need to be flexible, have a drive to deliver and be able to roll up your sleeves and assist our team during our busiest times.
Standard hours of work are 8.30am till 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, 30 hours per week.
You will need to have a full driving licence and daily access to a car to fulfil this role.
