Type: Permanent NEW Role Home Based covering London, Essex and Northern Home Counties An established and successful specialist contractor, based in Essex with an expanding project portfolio covering London, Essex, Herts, Beds, Bucks are looking for an experienced Site Health & Safety Advisor to provide site-based support to all live projects. This is a terrific new opportunity to have a real impact on the site culture of a growing business by providing; training, toolbox talks, inductions and investigating incidents if required. The role requires excellent communication and influencing skills as you will be working closely with the on-site teams and sub-contractors conducting site audits and inspections and supplying reports on any areas which can be improved and offering support and advice as needed. The client wants to have an increasingly pro-active and visible approach to safety, and your proven track record in building positive safety culture within a business and its sub-contractor base is essential. This is an autonomous role which is home based and setting your own diary. Candidates must have the discipline and motivation to manage their own time effectively. Type: Permanent Role This NEW strategic role will report directly to on of the Board of Directors and will work closely to influence and coach the operational teams promoting a culture of continuous improvement. A key focus on the Quality side is to review and ensure policies and procedures are in place. Current systems include OHSAS18001, ISO9001 and ISO14001 and the company are now looking to achieve ISO45001. The role will involve conducting group audits and compliance training. Your background MUST demonstrate experience of planning and implanting at a strategic level whilst still retaining a very ‘hands-on’ approach. An ambitious and growing multi-skilled consultancy part of a major PLC is urgently seeking to increase their CDM Capacity. With increased demand from a major retail chain they are looking for an APS qualified, experienced pre-construction phase plans CDM-Consultant to work as a dedicated resource for their clients fast moving development. The Role as the CDM Consultant / Principal Designer you will need to carry out duties as PD in accordance with CDM2015 regulations, to a top tier retail company. You will have experience of working on a number of CDM-Consultant duties over a wide range of industry projects such as; Retail, Fit-out and new build and also providing site based Health & Safety consultancy services You must have acted as CDM-Consultant for at least 3 years working with pre-construction phase plans and be a current Member of the Association for Project Safety (APS) and hold NEBOSH Construction Certificate. The role will be split between the clients’ office, on site and home based. You must be very comfortable with working in a client-facing capacity, demonstrate excellent communication skills, presentation, and commercial awareness. This role is ideal for a pre-construction phase plans CDM-Consultant looking to grow their career while improving their work/life balance in a truly excellent company.
