Regency Site Personnel are looking for a number of reliable Electricians and Improvers/Mates' for long-term projects in the North West (Manchester, Liverpool and Runcorn). All three projects will coincide with each other, offering the chance of continuous work for the remainder of 2020. The projects will offer a minimum of 48-50 hours with the potential of overtime available as the project progresses (Time and a half on Saturdays – Double on Sunday’s). I am currently seeking several experienced JIB Gold Electricians for their project in Runcorn to start on Monday 10th August. The project will run for up to 6 months and will offer between 45 and 50 hours a week with the potential of overtime on weekends as the contract progresses. They are looking for a Clerk of Works to join the development team in order to ensure major development projects meet quality control and comply with legislation. The role is key to minimising defects and improving customer satisfaction by ensuring schemes are built to the highest standards, are cost effective and delivered within agreed timescales. The role: • Manage quality control (materials and workmanship) to ensure schemes are fully compliant with Building Regulations, development agreement, drawings and specifications, funder’s requirements and represent good value for money. • Carry out all snagging and technical inspections. • Maintain appropriate contacts with building contractors and consultants. • Ensure accurate provision of information and handover on all tenures • Ensure external consultants deliver effective performance. • Liaise with statutory bodies to achieve compliance and scheme delivery. • Ensure Fire Safety regulations are met and final fire strategy is correct. You will need: • Proven experience of site management in complex and high rise housing developments. • Good technical construction knowledge. • Ability to interpret contract documentation including construction drawings and specifications. • Proven customer service experience. • Excellent attention to detail. • Good knowledge of contractual and non-contractual defects and their diagnosis. • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills. • Experience in producing and presenting clear, concise reports. • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including word, excel and outlook. • Demonstrable Continuous Personal Development history (CPD). • Experience in the social housing sector and developing new builds. • A construction trade or management qualification (and ideally site management safety training)

Regency Site Personnel are supporting a Swansea based Electrical contractor on a power station project in Port Talbot. They require a number of Electricians with a Confined Space (Medium risk) ticket for a 4 week project. Please do not apply for this project if you don't have the correct Confined Space ticket.
