Responsibilities -All aspects of plug and mould making for GRP boats -Ability to work from drawings -Full plug and mould production from scratch including hull, cabin and components -Assisting in other projects as required -Working with design team to optimise production processes Key Skills -Ability in all aspects of GRP production -Capable of following ISO9001 procedures and standards -Teamwork -Notes Must have formal reference from employers within the past 3 years referencing relevant skills. A leading refit brand in the Solent region require an experienced all-round Boatbuilder to join them in a Operations Manager You will need to be a versatile individual capable of both leading a small team and getting stuck in on the tools also, ensuring that projects are completed to a high standard and on time. You'll be working with various internal departments including stores, senior management and estimating in order to ensure that projects are correctly quoted, executed and to the right quality standards. As an individual you will be a multi-skilled Boatbuilder by trade, but someone who has evolved through to a Foreman or Management role. Marine Resources have an ongoing requirement for Mechanical fitters. You will be based in Portsmouth. Ideally you will be someone who has previous experience working in a shipyard.
