We have a new opportunity for a Site Engineer / Assistant Site Manager to work on a new housing project in Co Clare.
The Site Engineer / Manager will be working under an experienced Project Manager. A visiting Site Engineer will do most of the setting out but the successful person will be required to set-out on occasions.
It’s expected that the person hired for this role will progress to Site Management with the company.
Key duties:
• Setting out, leveling and surveying the site.
• Liaising with the management team to ensure correct specification, quality and quantity of materials are on site as and when required, checking all deliveries for same.
• Assist in the supervision, monitoring, and management of site operatives.
• Assist in the induction of site operatives, assist in carrying out H&S audits, monitor and manage adherence to PPE requirements.
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications.

• Collating Site Documentation required for certification.
Ideal Candidate
• Engineering or Construction Management degree (essential)
• Minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate experience.

• Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
• Enthusiastic and hardworking.
