Estimation Manager – Kent – Up to £80,000 p.a. plus £4800 Car Allowance plus Benefits Keplar Group are seeking an Estimation Manager on behalf of a leading Mechanical and Electrical contractor based in the Dartford area of Kent who offer a bespoke in house Mechanical and Electrical design and build service across the sectors, Banking, Critical Facilities, Retail and Leisure, Commercial, High End Residential, Education and FMCG. The Role As Estimation Manager, and reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be accountable for managing the Estimating and Pre-Construction to handover function whist working closely with the commercial and operational teams. They will also evaluate and manage all contractual, commercial, and technical risk within the tender process and upon contract award manage risk and optimise profitability through the pre-construction handover process and whilst enhancing and improving the current Estimating and Pre-Construction processes to create more efficiency, to maintain current Clientele base whilst creating further Client diversification and profitable workstreams. The key target threshold is to sustainably enhance the business revenue in line with the businesses Strategic Risk and Profitability objectives. To be considered for this role you will have. Acquired a professional RICS accredited qualification Been in a Senior Leadership role in implementing the winning bid strategy and. Creating and successfully managed teams and all stages of the estimating and pre-construction processes within a known M&E Contractor In Depth knowledge of the commercial and legal structures of JCT and NEC forms of contact and understanding of the business proposition, risk management on commercial and technically complex tenders. Proven Ability to work under pressure The Package On offer is a basic salary of up to £80,000 p.a. plus a £4800 car allowance plus many more company specific benefits. This specialist contractor is an established name in the market with a strong order book. Mechanical Project Manager will be working for a company who have an annual turnover in excess of £120M and projects in value from £1-25 M. My client are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager who is able to oversee a mechanical package based on site in Central London. This role requires someone to previously have worked for an M&E Contractor as a Mechanical Project Manager on commercial fit out projects. Keplar Group are pleased to represent a growing Construction company with an excellent opportunity for Kitchen/ Bathroom Installers to join their team. With previous experience in the plumbing and tiling you will have your own tools to complete the install. Ideally you will also have experience in carpentry, vinyl floor laying and wall boards - tiling and Altro floor laying experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Customer service driven you will be able to communicate well with customers at all levels and complete the installs to a high standard in line with the client’s specifications. Working Foreman - Carpentry Keplar Group are currently recruiting for a Working Foreman for a new housing development project based in South West London for a Main Contractor. Our client is a multi-faceted Construction Company who have built a reputation of undertaking bespoke building projects at all stages from conception, feasibility and planning through to construction and handover. You will have a dual role between management of sub-contractors and trades, managing day-to-day actives and getting hands on when needed. Future work will include similar projects alongside commercial, educational, retail and hospitality projects.
