A family owned design & build contractor based in South East London is recruiting for a newly-created Design Coordinator position. Client Details This opportunity has been created within the design team of a successful, privately owned main contractor. They specialise in residential design & build projects across the public and private sectors. Their projects vary from small projects of 10-15 units through to larger 150+ unit developments and typically will all have a focus on genuine placemaking. As a result of new project wins they are recruiting for a Design Coordinator. Description As the Design Coordinator you will have responsibility for running 2 smaller projects of £5-£15m in value. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting the appointment of a design team where necessary Coordinating design and technical information throughout the delivery phases Direct liaison with fabricators and suppliers to ensure accurate technical coordination and buildability Management of RFIs from site Oversight on sign-off of planning conditions and building control/NHBC requirements Production of O&M manuals and handover informationThis position will be based between the office in South East London and project sites (also typically South & South East London). Description In this newly created Structures Engineer position you will be based in North Kent and support the Asset Management team from a technical perspective, specifically supporting all elements of structures (tunnels and bridges) maintenance.
