You will be an integral part of the team to continue the success of the framework. This framework focuses on planned, responsive and M&E works worth ~£2.5m per annum
Main Responsibilities:
Contribute to the project commercial strategies and to take ownership for the subcontract packages
To demonstrate understanding of internal and external tender strategies
Effective management of subcontractors
To work effectively with your line manager to agree and produce main and subcontract final accounts
Contribute to relevant project procurement strategies with particular reference to issuing tender enquiries, package reconciliations and production of subcontract orders
Experience and skills
Experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor
Experience of working in a maintenance/ Social Housing environment
Understanding of all on-site Health & Safety requirements and responsibilities pertaining to the delivery of contracted works and their management and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with other members of the site team and to manage all programme and planning activities on the allocated on the project
Produce the contract and target programmes ensuring that all key design, procurement and construction activities are captured, and logic linked to identify the critical path.
Accurately record progress against the agreed programmes using the jagged line and re-schedule options within Asta Powerproject.
Prepare short term programmes and carry out any project specific exercises such as re-programming and allocating resources.
Input into the Project Execution Plans and prepare sequencing, logistics and phasing plans.
Attend meetings as required including team meetings, sub-contractor and design meetings.
Monitor any changes and assess the impact on the agreed programmes.
Where applicable, carry out delay analysis and prepare reports to assist with any EOT applications.
Suggest programme recovery actions or programme betterment opportunities.

The successful candidate must have RLO experience and will need to have excellent communications skills as they will be required to communicate between the site team, residents and the clients. You will be responsible for booking in appointments, dealing with complaints and issues, maintaining property information and carrying out validation and customer satisfaction surveys.
You must be IT literate, hard working and able to work both individually and within a team. The Resident Liaison Officer will work towards minimizing disruption to residents, gaining access to units and establishing relationships with all parties to ensure a smooth process during projects.
