Requirements * Candidates must have previous experience of building dwarf walls * Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in bricklaying and the construction of buildings. * Problem-solving ability. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team. * Physically fit and able to stand for long periods. * you must have great attention to detail to make sure that the bricks are arranged in the right way. * Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks. This role is for an immediate start The rate of pay for this role is £16 per hour

The successful candidate must have experience of working with stainless steel, carbon and stainless schedule pipework & knowledge of steam and condensate would be an advantage. IPAF license would be an advantage also. You must have your own transport, most of the work will be Newcastle & Sunderland area but occasionally Teesside area also. £17hr inclusive of holidays. Responsibilities * Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives * Set out, level and survey the site * Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations * Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications * Oversee the selection and requisition of materials * Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect * Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project * Liaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws * Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site * Prepare reports as required * Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
