The Role: We're looking for innovative, strong-minded individuals to be in charge of site operations on Thames Water projects in Oxford area. The Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities and taking initiative with ideas to improve the overall performance of the site. The ideal candidate will have a wide experience of managing people and will be very familiar with all safety procedures, work practices and standard operating procedures. The successful candidate will have experience in concrete reinforcement works, utilities, drainage and formwork. They will also maintain a high level of energy and positivity in the workplace and provide a welcoming environment that ensures a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Responsibilities: * Ensure that all work is completed on time and within its budget. * Management and supervision of an installation team and delegate tasks accordingly. * Project delivery, to programme and budget. Including providing regular budget up dates in meetings. * Driving improvements where possible in any part of the delivery process. * Liaise with merchants and Buying team * Highlight any training needs for your team. * Ensure all Company Policies and Procedures are followed at all times. * All orders need to be completed correctly and within sufficient times to the specification required. * Maintain daily records of progress. * Help to resolve any disputes which come up and identifying areas for improvement in the company's contracting processes. * Coordination of all facets of site delivery Requirements * Experience in a Site Managers role at similar projects * Experience of single value contracts and multi project schemes * CSCS * Knowledge of HSE * SMSTS * Self-Motivated * Driven * Driving Licence * Problem solver If you feel that you have the relevant experience to be successful in this position and would like to find out more, please apply online today attaching a copy of your current CV

You will be responsible for developing CAD drawings for their Sales, Contracts & Production Departments. Duties will include: • Creating plans and layouts from surveys • AutoCad drafting and detailing • Planning applications and building warrants • Knowledge of UK building regulations • Ongoing client and contractor liaison • Liaising with the projects, design, sales, production and contracts teams to prepare technical specifications in line with requirements The successful candidate must be hardworking, reliable, and possess excellent communication & inter personal skills. There will be significant interaction with all in-house personnel as well as external contractors and authorities. You will therefore be required to develop relationships at all levels. The ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines is a prerequisite. You will ideally be qualified to a minimum of HND level. Previous experience in an AutoCAD Technician/Architectural Technician role is essential. An understanding or interest in Revit would be advantageous.
