This person will be based on one of their construction sites in Kildare, with some travel to other sites as required. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and will have a NEBOSH Qualification or Higher Diploma in Safety, Health &Welfare at Work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide EHS support to numerous businesses within the group, including the implementation of the Safety Management System, performing site audits, participation at team workshops, attendance at hearings and report compilation

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
* Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years EHS experience in a similar role

* Have a practical understanding of scheduling and the associated commercial implications. Ensure close collaboration with Planning Engineer regarding accuracy of progress reporting.
* The Electrical Quantity Surveyor will be capable of costing and agreeing daily work changes to include managing the subcontractor remeasurement of contract works, site dayworks and site change orders.
* Maintain accurate records and provide necessary detailed backup to support commercial tracking and costing.

Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years of Quantity surveying experience essential on Electrical Projects.
* 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics / Quantity Surveying ideally coupled with a technical background as either Electrician or Electrical Engineer
* Experience working on electrical within the data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or commercial sectors.
* Detailed knowledge of commercial management and QS Role within construction
* Knowledge of contract conditions and their applications
* Overall understanding of the business, client and Sub Contractor relations, and installations

Euro Executive Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Package Manager on behalf of our client who is a leading engineering contractor based in Ireland. This role is for a data centre project based in Central London
The Role:
* Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the project team and the Company Safety Advisor. This will include the set-up, management of and closing out of the safety file
* Management of Site QA in conjunction with the QA Manager including set up, management and close out of file
* Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with the company Project Team, Consulting Engineer and Client requirements
* Management of all costs associated with Project including:
* Labour
* Material
* Plant and Equipment
* Variations
* Valuations
* Management of all day to day site operations

* Issue external weekly progress report, to all stakeholders, highlighting areas not available, and delays, shortage of design, third party hold ups and percentage
* Ensure all Sub-contractor documentation including safety documentation is maintained up to date and filed for future reference.
* Close out of all project items including Final Account, O & M Manuals, Punch List, Safety File, QA File, Material and Plant re-locations, Project Plan – all with the Support of your Project team.
* Issue weekly safety stats & project labour projections.
* Hold weekly commercial meetings with the commercial team to ensure all variations are been captured and costs issued to the client.
* Develop and implement company procedures with the package managers
* Ensure change management is handled correctly (Cost & Programme).
