EUC Architect - 12-Month Contract - Inside IR35 - Reading (Hybrid) We are seeking an EUC Architect to join a leading global retailer on a 12-month office-based contract in Reading. You will deliver end-to-end End User Computing architecture for a large, distributed estate across stores, offices, and distribution centres, leading transition, transformation, and modernisation, including cloud-based endpoint management and secure, scalable EUC platforms. You will work closely with CIOs and senior IT leadership to shape EUC strategy and lead innovation through automation and analytics-driven improvements. Key Responsibilities: Define and own end-to-end EUC architecture across Windows, macOS, mobile, and EPOS Lead EUC transition and transformation initiatives aligned to business and IT strategy Design and implement modern device management with Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot Drive endpoint security, compliance, and patch management standards across the estate Oversee application packaging, deployment, and life cycle management Establish governance, standards, and best practice for EUC service delivery Lead innovation through automation, digital experience monitoring, and analytics Support audit readiness, risk mitigation, and regulatory and security compliance What You Will Ideally Bring: Strong EUC architecture expertise across Windows, macOS, and mobile device management Hands-on Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot experience Deep understanding of endpoint security, compliance, patching, and vulnerability management Application packaging, deployment, and life cycle management Retail technology experience such as EPOS and store devices Digital experience tools (Nexthink, SysTrack) and automation, including PowerShell Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 desirable Zero Trust, Azure AD, Conditional Access, and MFA desirable ServiceNow and ITIL; ISO 27001 and GDPR familiarity desirable Contract Details Duration: 12 months Day Rate: £550 + per day Determination: Inside IR35 Location: Hybrid, READING Start Date: ASAP EUC Architect - 12-Month Contract - Inside IR35 - Reading

DC Architect - 12-Months Contract - Reading (Office Based) - Inside IR35 Our client, a leading IT consultancy, is looking for a Data Centre Architect to join a major infrastructure programme in Reading. You will own the architecture and design of data centre and hybrid environments, guide consolidation and migration activity, and act as the senior technical authority across compute, storage, network and resilience. Key Responsibilities Design and document end-to-end data centre architectures, covering compute, storage, network and virtualisation. Lead data centre consolidation, exit and migration planning, including target-state designs and transition roadmaps. Define resilience, backup and DR strategy, including RPO and RTO targets, using tools such as Rubrik. Provide technical direction on monitoring and operational tooling (eg SCOM) and champion automation and Infrastructure as Code. Advise stakeholders and senior leadership on architectural options, risks and standards, and provide out-of-hours escalation support. What You Will Ideally Bring Proven experience as a Data Centre or Infrastructure Architect on large enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of virtualisation and SDDC, particularly VMware. Solid grounding in data centre networking (eg leaf-spine, resilient design) and Tier II-IV facility concepts. Experience designing backup, DR and high availability solutions, plus hybrid and cloud integration. Desirable, experience with SCOM, Rubrik, Infrastructure as Code and Zero Trust principles.
