Project Coordinator - Rental (Modular Construction) 32,500.00 per annum East Riding of Yorkshire Prestige Recruitment Specialists are working in partnership with our client, a leading modular construction business with a strong rental division supporting a wide range of temporary and permanent building solutions. Due to continued operational demand, our client is looking to appoint a Project Coordinator - Rental to join their Brandesburton Operations team. This role will report directly to the Brandesburton Operations Manager and will play a key role in supporting the refurbishment and deployment of rental fleet assets to meet project and client requirements. The Role The Project Coordinator - Rental will support the Rental Operations Manager in the coordination, planning, and preparation of modular fleet units, ensuring refurbishment works are scoped accurately, delivered efficiently, and aligned with project budgets and timelines. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers. Key Responsibilities For relevant projects, responsibilities will include: Setting up project templates ready for scoping and delivery Producing detailed shop orders of work, including labour hours and material requirements, to refurbish existing fleet and deliver customer-specific modifications in line with drawings and specifications Producing detailed site fix kits to accompany factory shop orders Reviewing project CF08 allocations and associated cost data Composing and placing subcontract orders required for projects Reviewing and advising the sales team on initial pricing documentation Supporting the design team with cost-saving and value engineering initiatives Updating factory scopes with accurate scoping hours following strip-out inspections Assisting in the early stages of projects by identifying material requirements for selected units Actively seeking opportunities to utilise second-hand materials to maximise project margins Organising and coordinating factory project launches as required Supporting the protection of fleet assets, ensuring units are sealed and protected against weather exposure Supporting budget control and promoting adherence to the company's CAPEX process Assisting with the second-hand refurbishment process Liaising with strip-out teams to identify items suitable for refurbishment Liaising with relevant personnel to address health and safety issues Attending uplift projects and completing dilapidation and condition survey reports About You Our client is seeking a proactive and organised individual with strong coordination and communication skills, ideally with experience or knowledge of modular construction or rental fleet operations. You will ideally demonstrate: Good communication and interpersonal skills Strong numerical ability and attention to detail Good IT skills, including Microsoft packages Strong planning and organisational skills The ability to work on your own initiative Knowledge of modular construction (beneficial but not essential) Knowledge of modular products and materials (advantageous) A Level 3 qualification or above in a construction or modular-related discipline (advantageous, but not essential) Training & Development Our client will provide full training for the successful candidate, including: Training on relevant internal systems Training on the company's IT infrastructure and Microsoft packages Ongoing support and development to build sector-specific knowledge Why Apply? Quantity Surveyor - Modular Construction East Riding of Yorkshire 35k up to 55k DOE Various roles Prestige Recruitment Specialists are working in partnership with our client, a well-established and growing construction business specialising in modular and offsite construction solutions. Due to continued project delivery and growth, our client is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their Commercial Team. This role will be based at the Brandesburton location and will report directly to the Commercial Manager / Senior Quantity Surveyor. It offers an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial mindset to work across a range of modular construction projects. The Role The Quantity Surveyor will provide surveying and commercial support to the Commercial Team, ensuring effective cost control, accurate reporting, and robust commercial management across designated projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, and subcontractors, contributing to the successful commercial delivery of projects from commencement through to final account. Key Responsibilities Preparing and issuing Account Development Reviews to clients on a regular basis Maintaining and updating CPR spreadsheets, ensuring monthly reconciliation with Project Commitment Reports Attending monthly CPR meetings and reporting on the commercial position of allocated projects Preparing and submitting Applications for Payment to clients in a timely manner and securing client approval Preparing, negotiating, and settling Final Accounts within two months of project completion Managing the recovery of retention Working closely with Project Managers and Site Managers to understand site progress and commercial risks Attending regular Project Review Meetings Raising PORFs and issuing Sub-Contract Works Orders Issuing and managing variations to Sub-Contract Works Orders Attending site as required to monitor progress, quality, and subcontractor performance Reviewing and approving subcontractor Applications for Payment and issuing Payment Certificates Authorising Purchase Orders for payment (receipting) Managing and agreeing Sub-Contractor Final Accounts Preparing re-measurement reports for the Commercial Manager as required Producing project-related commercial reports as requested Undertaking additional ad hoc duties in support of the Commercial Team About You Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor with experience in the construction sector, ideally within modular, offsite, or main contracting environments. You will ideally demonstrate: A Degree in Quantity Surveying Experience in a Quantity Surveying role, we have various roles Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to work with minimal supervision and manage your own workload A proactive and commercially aware approach Willingness to attend site regularly as part of the role Why Apply?
