A Housing Association is currently looking for a Data Compliance Officer on a temporary basis for about 4 months Key responsibilities are as follows Investigating and responding to security incidents, data breaches and data protection related complaints Responding to subject access requests, within agreed timelines First point of contact for business for advice and assistance on all data protection matters including DPIAs, action plans, data sharing agreements, information asset register etc Review, develop and prepare guidance for staff on all data protection matters on a regular basis Embedding GDPR compliance by leading and supporting wider business through regular meetings, preparing and delivering training on data protection and GDPR requirements including refresher training and specific training as requested by the business Work with the wider business to develop record keeping processes and systems in line with GDPR/Best Practice requirements Advice and assist the business in all data protection matters, including retention schedules, data sharing agreements, PIAs, information asset register etc Work closely with the Information Data Owners to support them in delivering data protection obligations, policies and best practice. Large Housing Association requires a Building Surveyor for a period of 6 months. Responsibilities: Support the Assets Leads to deliver all aspects of planned and reactive works to customers in their homes. Support the Building Projects team and client in providing professional advice and good understanding of the profile of the range of properties in the area, primarily residential but including some commercial property. Manage programmes of work and problem solve to deliver a high-quality service, on time and to agreed budget. Conduct full building surveys and prepare reports and recommendations including cost analysis within all aspects of planned and reactive works. Oversee responsive repairs works to enable improvements to the planned maintenance programmes. Carry out post-inspections to assure completed works were carried out / necessary and have been completed to the required quality standard as specified in the contract. Assist with the management of the void process in accordance with the contract/ active asset management strategy and oversee contractor works. Investigate service complaints on behalf of clients, outlining recommendations to either resolve or deliver service improvements and ensure that customers are kept informed of actions. Assist in assessing work needed for repairs covered by insurance and/or following serious flood, fires or other serious incidents referred to you by the client, including project management of any work required Provide high quality technical surveying assessments and/or advice and/or reports on major repairs / cyclical maintenance works / FRA / EPCs and any other contracted works. The successful candidate will ensure all repairs adhere to the perfect journey, that residents need only ask once, and any failure is fixed quickly when exception cases occur. Responsibilities: Ensuring contractors and suppliers are providing a consistently high-quality repairs service. Delivering well cared for homes and places where residents feel safe and a sense of pride through top class contract management. A responsive service, where staff and resident queries and complaints are actioned thoroughly, timely and learnings are taken from feedback. Recommend, oversee and develop a best in class reporting repairs processes and policies to meet targets and fix failure fast. Assist the Regional Repair Lead, Surveyors and Local Officers in the management of responsive repairs, kitchen and bathroom as well as planned and cyclical referrals. Continually monitor the quality and success of all responsive repairs, using data, analysis and insight to instigate appropriate improvements and recommendations. Manage a post inspection regime for your patch, ensuring that works are carried out to a good standard and taking ownership where works are not to a good standard and seen through to successful conclusion. Manage an audit/oversight regime for repairs, checking contractors are complying with H&S obligations and following the code of conduct. Support the preparation of overall stock condition inspections or undertaking local nitial surveys for reactive or planned works.
