As part of our growing operations team in the North East, we're looking for a skilled and motivated Site Supervisor to take charge on-site, lead teams effectively, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in spill response, pollution control, or environmental site operations who enjoy hands-on leadership and thrive in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities Assist in leading operational teams on both emergency response and planned works across industrial and environmental sites Act as the primary on-site contact, ensuring safe systems of work and accurate RAMS documentation Manage plant, equipment, vehicles, and materials to ensure readiness and compliance Build strong working relationships with clients and represent the company professionally on-site Support planning, logistics, and documentation for projects of varying scale and complexity Play an active role in spill and HAZMAT response operations Requirements Knowledge and practical experience of pollution control and spill response Competent in the use of RPE and breathing apparatus HP/UHP water jetting experience Qualifications: IOSH Managing Safely and SSSTS Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and travel or stay away from home when required Excellent communication and team leadership skills HGV Class 2 licence and towing experience What We Offer Competitive salary with overtime opportunities Company pension and life assurance Health cash plan (including dental, optical, and therapy treatments) Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption pay Employee assistance programme (including GP and mental health support) Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Generous annual leave plus bank holidays
