Job Title: Joinery Installations Manager Location: London Salary: 65,000 - 70,000 We are looking for an experienced, organised and hands-on Joinery Installation Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing joinery installation projects from delivery through to completion, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will coordinate installation teams, liaise with clients and other contractors, solve problems on site and ensure projects are delivered on time. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong background in joinery installation, high-end bespoke residential fitouts, who is ready to take responsibility for managing installation projects. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee joinery installation projects at sites. Lead and coordinate installation teams and subcontractors on site. Plan labour, materials, deliveries, equipment and installation schedules. Ensure joinery is installed correctly, professionally and to the required specification. Read and interpret drawings, plans and installation instructions. Liaise professionally with clients, main contractors, site managers and other trades. Carry out site checks along with surveys and ensure installations are ready to proceed. Identify and resolve installation issues and unexpected site problems. Monitor progress against project programmes and report any delays or issues. Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales and to a high standard. Maintain excellent standards of health and safety on all sites. Complete site paperwork, installation reports, snagging lists and handover documentation. Inspect completed installations and ensure snagging is dealt with promptly. Coordinate with the project director to ensure the correct joinery, fittings and materials are prepared and delivered. Always represent the company professionally. Essential Requirements You will ideally have several years' experience in joinery installations. Experienced in leading or supervising installation teams. Able to read and understand technical drawings and plans. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. A confident communicator who can deal professionally with customers and contractors. Able to work independently and make decisions when problems arise. Health and safety conscious. Reliable, punctual and able to take ownership of projects from start to finish. A positive team player with a hands-on approach. Previous experience supervising or managing installation teams. Full UK driving licence. Willingness to travel to other sites as and when necessary. Good understanding of site health and safety requirements. Good practical and problem-solving skills. CSCS or other relevant site qualifications. SSSTS or SMSTS qualification. Experience working alongside main contractors and on larger construction projects. Joinery, carpentry, or manufacturing experience.
