Multi-Skilled Plumber 35,535 per annum Long Stratton, Norwich, Norfolk Permanent, Full Time Proposed Interview Date: W/C 9th March (TBC) We have an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Plumber to carry out all plumbing tasks including, vented cylinders, water tanks and tiling. Experience with unvented cylinders would be preferred. Minor carpentry. Boxing for pipes and fitting bath panels. Key Responsibilities Include: Undertake all general maintenance building work in order to maintain all premises owned by Saffron or those they have an interest in. Carryout all work of a maintenance nature as required; this may include but is not limited to: Plumbing, Heating, Tiling and Minor Carpentry Undertake building work in association with improvements, minor works and small new build contracts. Responsible for ensuring all jobs are closed down accordingly when repairs are completed via a mobile devise. For a full list of responsibilities please see the attached Role Profile Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: Educations and Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in plumbing A recognised trade apprenticeship, NVQ level 2 or the equivalent level of skills and experience is required. Full, current, valid driving licence. Experience: Minimum 2 years of working in domestic buildings. Relevant experience and knowledge in all types of maintenance work. Experience of working in both occupied and unoccupied properties and on occasions in extreme temperatures and conditions due to seasonal weather conditions. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of other trades such as carpentry and building (small works) Able to work as part of a team and also able to work independently without the need for close supervision. Excellent time management skills, including an ability to prioritise workload and meet agreed deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, possessing the ability to liaise with various audiences. Personal Attributes: Problem solving. Attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Include: Maintain all grassed areas, hedges, and shrub beds to the recognised standard using powered hand tools and ride-on mowers. Undertake plant protection product application, garden clearances, watercourse management and equipment maintenance as required. Liaise with the Senior Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure work schedules are up to date and adjusted accordingly.
