Venesky-Brown are looking for an experienced a Multi-Skilled Groundworker for ongoing works supporting our client on infrastructure projects in the Bury area of Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project delivering key infrastructure works with an immediate start available. Job Details Location: Bury Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (currently) Start Date: 14th of September Rates £19.34 per hour PAYE (first 9.5 hours) £24.17 per hour (after 9.5 hours) £29.01 per hour (Saturday & Sunday) Holiday Pay Pension Scheme Key Duties & Responsibilities Install, maintain, and test temporary and permanent electrical systems across the site. Carry out cable installation, termination, fault finding, and electrical repairs. Read and work from electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications. Ensure all work complies with site procedures, and health and safety regulations. Complete inspections, testing, and documentation while working safely with other site trades. The project will mainly involve formwork and concrete-related civil engineering works, including preparation ahead of concrete pours. Details: Location: Glasgow Airport - Airside Shift: Sunday to Thursday nights Pay: £21.95-£24.27 per hour Monday-Thursday/£24.75-£27.38 per hour Sunday Employment: PAYE Rate: Dependent on experience Duties: Preparing areas for concrete works Formation and sub-base preparation Excavation and reinstatement Assisting with concrete preparation and pours Supporting shuttering and concrete teams General groundworks and civil engineering duties Essential Requirements: Previous Groundworks/Civils experience Valid CSCS Card - physical card must be held Available for Sunday to Thursday nightshifts Able to complete the Glasgow Airport Airside Pass process Additional plant tickets would be advantageous Airside Pass Requirements: Successful applicants must be able to provide: Fully verifiable 5-year employment/history 5-year address history Valid photographic ID Employment/gap references where required Information required for DBS checks Previous experience on major civils, infrastructure, airport or reinforced concrete projects would be advantageous.
