Our client, a Kent-based, award-winning Refurbishment and Fit-Out contractor have an opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team and help grow their fast scaling business. Delivering multiple fit-out schemes within the Retail and Commercial sphere, they are the preferred contractor to more than one major high street brand and typically carry out works across London and the South-East. Contracts range from 50k up to 1m each in value and are usually turned around within 12 weeks, from initial estimate to on-site completion. Due to organic growth, our client have an opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to help oversee the commercial cradle-to-grave lifecycle of up to 5 projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have: 4+ years Quantity Surveying experience, within a refurb/fit-out environment. Knowledge of JCT Intermediate, D&B and Minor Works contracts. A construction focussed degree or equivalent. UK driving license. Ability to price schemes on a Schedule of Rates. Working Monday to Friday, the days will be split between working from the head offices in Canterbury, based on site and an optional one day a week from home (after probationary period). There is ample opportunity for career growth, with training and internal progression encouraged.
