About the Role Our client is currently looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a major data centre project in Slough. This is a site-based position working closely with the project and site management teams to ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained throughout the project. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting site teams, monitoring compliance, carrying out inspections and promoting a strong positive safety culture across the project. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day Health & Safety support across the data centre project. Carry out regular site inspections, audits and safety observations. Monitor compliance with RAMS and company H&S procedures. Assist with the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements. Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, engineers and subcontractors. Identify hazards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented. Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations. Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings. Monitor subcontractor compliance with site H&S requirements. Maintain accurate H&S documentation and records. Ensure compliance with relevant UK Health & Safety legislation and client requirements. Support the project team in maintaining and improving H&S standards. Requirements NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent. Previous experience within a construction environment. Experience working on data centre, M&E, mechanical or building services projects would be highly advantageous. Good knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation. Experience carrying out site inspections, audits and investigations. Strong understanding of RAMS and construction safety procedures. Confident communicating with site teams, subcontractors and senior management. CSCS/appropriate H&S qualification or card. Strong communication and organisational skills. They work UK wide within Utilities, Tunnelling, Heavy Civils, infrastructure and Rail with projects ranging from £500k to £50m. Role: Responsible for the day to day planning of works for a set number of gangs, ensuring work is closed correctly and to address queries from the client regarding these jobs Responsibilities: Manage workload to assigned gangs and works area. Check that gangs have taken all photographs as required by the contract. Communicate with the client to ensure that work is correctly prioritised and given to the correct gangs. Check that completed jobs are closed correctly and Highway Authority notified. Ensure jobs do not exceed the allocated time period otherwise fines will be incurred. Proactively manage the workload to each gang using a drip feed policy. Maintain records of all works done using prescribed templates. Become familiar with the noticing requirements of the contract. Undertake additional duties from time to time as directed by your line manager. General (All Staff) Any reasonable duties expected of you. Attend and engage fully in any learning and development activities that are deemed appropriate by your line management. Carry out all work in accordance with health and safety and any other legal requirements. Participate in team/business meetings as necessary. Project Quantity Surveyor - Respected Utilities contractor Leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor Newly awarded AMP8 framework, projects in the region until 2030 with possible extension thereafter Projects under NEC3 and NEC4 contract forms, valued from 500k - 15m SSA are currently recruiting for a leading Civil Engineering & Utilities contractor who are looking to add Quantity Surveyor to join their team working as part of their AMP8 South-East Water framework covering schemes across the Kent area. Duties will include: Ensure cost control is maintained throughout all functions (procurement, delivery, design) Support the project manager in respect of project and commercial deliverables Prepare subcontract tender packages, carry out comparisons and place relevant orders Responsible for the management, collation, interpretation and analysis of project commercial records Supporting the tender process from cradle to grave Production of monthly cost & value forecasting Subcontract management Production of impact assessments, early warning and risk expenditure This role will include hybrid working arrangements, with sensible arrangement in place for working from home, project sites or the client offices. Senior Quantity Surveyor - Water Leading contractor Long-term projects NEC 3 contracts SSA are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Water contractor in the delivery of their Thames Water framework, looking after Water Treatment & Pumping Station upgrade projects valed between 5m- 35m. This framework will be administered using NEC3 contracts and will see the successful Senior QS having commercial responsibility for the scheme; leading a small team, overseeing their works and also having primary involvement in: subcontractor assessments & meetings; leading of CVR meetings; leading internal, client, & stakeholder commercial meetings; monthly reconciliations; & final accounts amongst other duties. They are looking for someone with a stable career history, with a history of working with NEC3 contracts within the civil engineering, infrastructure, or utility industries. Essential Qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent;

Job Purpose Statement You will work closely with the Site Manager / Project Manager and Site Supervisors to deliver on site production and learn how labour, plant and materials are managed throughout the project. You will assist the Site Manager / Project Manager in delivering HSEQ requirements for the project and logistics, monitoring materials, booking in deliveries and carrying out inductions. Key Responsibilities To develop an understanding of construction sequences and methodologies To work with Site Supervisors to understand how labour and plant are put to work and productivity is achieved To assist Site Manager / Project Manager in carrying out their duties including day to day HSEQ paperwork To develop an understanding of HSEQ systems To deliver site inductions To book site deliveries To call off and schedule materials To measure and take off materials and monitor stock To keep accurate site records (photos, diary etc.)

Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager / Senior H&S Advisor position. Strong background within demolition, construction, civil engineering or another high-risk environment. Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations. Experience conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations. Strong understanding of RAMS and safe systems of work. Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to engage with both senior management and site-based teams. Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of Health & Safety across multiple operations. Full UK driving licence. NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ Level 6 / CMIOSH would be advantageous.
