It is looking to hire a Regional SHEQ Manager from its office in Greater Manchester. As the Regional SHEQ Manager you will report directly into the Head of SHEQ and your remit will be the north of England, so plenty of travel will be involved. You will work across the Maintenance and Construction sides of the business implementing group SHEQ policy, designing, developing and rolling out all SHEQ in-house training. The successful Regional SHEQ Manager must have a proven track record in a similar role and be familiar with working across different sectors that include private, commercial, public, government and manufacturing. In addition, you must also hold NEBOSH general cert and have a good understanding of the FM / Maintenance and Construction industries. As the Estimator, you will be responsible for delivering precise cost assessments for repairs, maintenance, and projects predominantly in the commercial sector. Your role is to consider all pertinent information about each job and provide detailed information on the costs involved in carrying out the work. You must have a proven track record in a similar role and have either an electrical or mechanical background with relevant qualifications. In addition, you will also play a key role in the delivery of small works projects. The successful Estimator must have strong technical knowledge, you must be organised, have excellent attention to detail and have strong communication skills. You will also be expected to visit sites as and when required.
