Bid Writer / Senior Bid Writer A leading Essex based regional contractor requires a Bid Writer or Senior Bid Writer to work closely with the Pre Construction team of this busy regional contractor. There is a large salary range given and will depend on experience. The lower end of the range would suit less experienced applicants, but who are still able to manage the process and workload, the higher end of the pay scale is for more experienced candidates with an excellent proven work history. The successful applicant will have / be: A proven experience as a Bid Writer / Senior Bid Writer within construction Excellent written communication and editing skills Be highly organised and be able to work on own intuitive and manage workload Be detailed, and have a strong understanding of compliance and governance Projects will fall within Education, Commercial, Lifestyle, Healthcare and Heritage sectors. Working Foreman Working Foreman required for a company that specialises in Internal & External refurbishments, with projects in and around London. Projects can vary from high spec/high value residential refurbs to commercial fitouts, office fitouts or school refits etc. Looking for an experienced tradesman (Preferably Carpentry, but open to other trades). The successful applicant will be able to manage their time between working on the tools and managing the team and project as a whole. Do you have: A good eye for detail The ability to lead and work as part of a team The ability to read project drawings The ability to record site progress and keep the site diary The ability to liaise with a visiting project manager and clients, reporting site progress. If you are experienced within demolition and have previously been a supervisor on Demolition projects this may be for you. Site Manager Site Manager required for 6 High Spec apartments in the Chelsea / Knightsbridge area. This is an 18 week contract which is to manage the internal fitout of the apartments taking from M&E through all stages of build, plastering, carpentry and delivering high spec finished apartments. This would suit a site manager who has previously delivered high spec apartments and someone who understands what it takes to deliver the high spec finish. Being able to communicate well on site with all involved is imperative (Client and contractors etc) and they are looking for applicants who have a keen eye for detail who can deliver excellent finishes.
