M&E Site Supervisor - North Scotland Location: North Scotland Rate: Starting at 39 an hour Start Date: ASAP Duration: Until March 2027 Site Accomadation provided Turner Lovell is supporting a leading energy infrastructure contractor with a strong track record of delivering complex electrical and mechanical projects across the UK. We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Site Supervisor to support a major infrastructure project in North Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising Mechanical and Electrical site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, quality, and client requirements. Working closely with the Site Manager and wider project team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of M&E activities, leading subcontractors and site teams and ensuring work fronts are properly planned, resourced, and executed. Duties Supervise and coordinate day-to-day M&E site activities Lead and coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery Support the planning and sequencing of M&E works in line with the project programme Ensure labour, plant, materials, and technical information are available when required Monitor progress and identify and escalate any risks, delays, or issues Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with RAMS, SHEQ procedures, and site requirements Conduct and support toolbox talks and daily site briefings Liaise with the Site Manager, engineers, subcontractors, and project management team Maintain accurate site records, progress updates, and relevant documentation Ensure a strong focus on health, safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project Requirements Proven experience as an M&E Site Supervisor / Supervisor on major infrastructure or construction projects Strong Mechanical or Electrical background Experience supervising subcontractors and site teams Previous experience within energy, power, utilities, HV, industrial, or other safety-critical environments Valid CSCS or relevant site safety qualification SSSTS or SMSTS preferred Strong understanding of RAMS, site safety procedures, and construction processes Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts and maintain programme delivery Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills If you are an experienced M&E Site Supervisor currently available or coming available shortly and interested in an opportunity in North Scotland, please get in touch for further information contact me at: (url removed)

Site Construction Manager - 400kV OHL / Substation Location : North Scotland - Inverness, site-based. Rate : 700 per day, with accommodation and travel to site covered Start Date : October 26 Duration : 12-month initial contract, with potential for further requirements Hours : 37 hours per week, with flexibility required due to travel and project demands Turner Lovell are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK energy infrastructure organisation delivering major electricity transmission projects across the UK. We are seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager to support the delivery of a major 400kV Overhead Line and Substation projects in North Scotland. This is a key site-based position, responsible for overseeing construction activities and ensuring works are delivered safely to programme and in accordance with the required quality, environmental and technical standards. Working closely with the appointed contractors and wider project team, you will act as a key representative on site, monitoring progress, contractor performance and compliance across a complex major transmission project. Role Responsibilities: Manage and monitor construction activities across a major 400kV OHL and substation projects Represent the project organisation on site and act as a key point of contact for contractors and stakeholders Monitor completed works against project KPIs to support payment applications and NEC contract management Monitor and record key deliverables including earthworks, civils, substation, overhead line construction and commissioning activities Ensure construction activities comply with planning consents, statutory requirements, SHE legislation and project standards Monitor contractor performance against programme, resource requirements, quality and safety expectations Ensure works are delivered in accordance with CDM 2015, ITPs and relevant technical and quality requirements Support effective management / reporting of project interfaces, risks, issues and construction activities Role Requirements: Proven experience in a Site Construction Manager or similar construction management role Strong engineering and construction knowledge within major infrastructure projects Experience working on major transmission projects, ideally involving OHL, substations and/or underground cables Strong understanding of construction Health & Safety requirements and CDM 2015 Understanding of NEC contracts and experience supporting contract management would be advantageous Ability to work site-based across a major infrastructure project Experience within the energy, utilities or electricity transmission sector is highly desirable This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Construction Manager to join a major UK transmission programme, working on a significant 400kV OHL and substation developments in North Scotland.
