Location: Inchinnan - Scotland Reports to: Project Manager Contract: This role is a permanent salaried role based 5 days a week on site. We are not considering freelance or contractors for this role. Role Purpose: Responsible for the safe execution of MEP projects for Rolls-Royce site in Inchinnan. You will ensure that projects are delivered to meet Integral & Rolls-Royce s standards in regards to safety, quality and programme, whilst complying as a Principle Contractor with current CDM legislation. This includes compliance with MS18 and CSO6 Rolls-Royce standards. You will be qualified in a related trade e.g. mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, roofing etc. What you will be doing Provide Health and safety leadership to your site delivery team, promote behavioural safety improvements and carry out regular site manager safety audits reporting findings to the management / safety team. Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the project. Delivering projects to programme as set by the senior management team. Support project opportunities where identified, to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance. Promote, develop and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the company's reputation at site level. Support where required the mandatory reporting of KPI's, Good Catches/Near Misses (GC/NM), accidents and incidents are carried out as per Integral and Rolls Royce procedures. To ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards. Carry out regular toolbox talks, daily activity briefings with Rolls-Royce & sub-contractors. Maintain accurate records of works done and expenditure reporting this information to the project manager where applicable. Liaise with the project manager to order general materials as required to complete the project. Co-ordinate all activities on site, issue permits in compliance with CDM and CSO6 Liaise with the Rolls-Royce Project Manager to ensure that the works are delivered in accordance with the workbook. To ensure works are carried out to high standard complying with relevant British Standards, codes of practice and Rolls-Royce Standards and are completed snag and defect free. To lead your team to deliver the company s management expectations successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets. What we will need from you Proven and demonstrable experience in the role of a supervisor/ site manager (essential). Experience of Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing installations. Experience of working in occupied buildings/campuses (highly desirable). Experience of managing health and safety procedures along with knowledge of H&S standards/regulations (essential). Ability to develop a good understanding of the customers business requirements (essential). City & Guilds /NVQ (or equivalent) construction related qualification (essential). SSSTS/SMSTS, JIB/BESA, CSCS Card, First Aid (essential). Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office, Fieldview or similar tablet-based quality assurance software (essential). Excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and confident written and verbal communication skills (essential). High level of organisational ability along with time management skills in order to drive and meet deadlines (essential). Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks undertaken. Able to demonstrate initiative (essential). Commitment to providing a high-quality service demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness and flexibility (essential). Adept at working in a team and providing leadership/support to fellow team members (essential). Summary of Role This role involves managing and coordinating remedial maintenance work by serving as the main contact point, organising repairs through direct labour or subcontractors while meeting customer SLAs, and ordering necessary parts and equipment. What you will be doing Primary point of contact for remedial works in progress Organising & completing Service remedial works with direct labour or sub-contractor in line with customer SLA s Ordering of parts, access equipment, plant & tools Ensuring jobs are done within budget and with agreed timelines. Identify any contract variations and manage cost controls. Oversee quality and technical compliance or works undertaken. Delegate booking-In and issuing of RAMS and Permits, where required Provide Updates so customers portals so ETA s can be tracked. Raising & processing supplier & subcontractor purchase orders. Processing all reactive paperwork to ensure works are correctly invoiced Liaising efficiently with Customers, Service Engineers and the wider H&K Team. Developing and maintaining knowledge of all relevant IT systems. What we will need from you Experience within the Fire & Security sector performing a similar role (essential) Experience in managing small budget projects in the fire engineering industry. Practiced at management of on-site labour & resources. Knowledge of production of project documentation eg. RAMs, Quality Plans, Project Plans, Cost Sheets (CTC), Trackers. Familiarity with all standard MS office applications Experience of Corrigo (desirable) Strong communication skills (essential) Confident telephone manner with exemplary customer service aptitude (essential) Eager to work in a fast paced, busy, growing workplace (essential).
