The Project Manager will be leading a 10m refurbishment of a hospital project running the project reporting into the Construction Director. The role will be a year long project on site with further work in the pipeline for the right candidate. The company operate nationwide on fit out projects and can offer genuine progression and growth. The ideal candidate will have fit out/ refurbishment experience on live high profile projects. Salary up to 65k plus a good package.

Project Manager Refurbishment Projects Office based role in Dartford A specialist construction contractor is seeking a Project Manager to deliver multiple healthcare and hospital projects taking responsibility from handover through to completion, commissioning and defects. Key Requirements: Any refurbishment (retail/schools) or actual Healthcare/hospital project experience and previous Design & Build experience are highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple projects to programme, budget, quality and H&S standards. Coordinate Site Managers, subcontractors, designers, clients and clinical teams. Produce and manage programmes, RAMS, CPPs, RFIs, technical submissions and drawing trackers. Lead design and client meetings, recording actions and driving progress. Monitor costs, procurement, variations and provisional sums with the commercial team. Identify and manage project risks, delays and EOTs. Oversee commissioning, O&M information and final handover. Maintain project documentation and provide regular progress reports. Travel nationwide to sites as required. Ensure appropriate MRI/ferromagnetic safety procedures are followed on relevant projects. Candidate Requirements Proven construction Project Management experience. Previous Design & Build experience. Trade/site-based construction experience. SMSTS qualified. Strong RAMS and programme management experience. Asta Powerproject experience. Good understanding of M&E and commercial processes. Asbestos Awareness and Working at Height training. Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. Full UK driving licence. Degree/NVQ Level 7 or equivalent experience preferred. DBS clearance may be required.

Design & Build experience and previous hospital/healthcare project experience are essential for this role. The successful candidate will need a strong understanding of working within live hospital environments, managing designers and coordinating a specialist healthcare supply chain. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Take responsibility for project delivery from initial site mobilisation/shovel in the ground through to handover. Manage the £6.5m D&B hospital project, including 4 laboratories. Coordinate designers, consultants and specialist subcontractors. Manage the programme and ensure key milestones are achieved. Maintain strong relationships with the client and project stakeholders. Manage the healthcare supply chain and subcontractor performance. Demonstrate strong contractual awareness throughout project delivery. Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact the programme. The Estimator will be joining a medium sized company taking projects from enquiry stage and putting together a tender alongside the Commercial Director. The projects are up to 6m across retail, commercial and education mainly fit out and refurbishment.
