Are you a construction safety professional with a strong capability in CDM Principal Designer Advisor duties and want to work in a leading consutltancy on an agile basis, managing your own diary? We are looking for an experienced CDM Consultant at any delivery level to help in some of the UK's most complex and stimulating projects that are diverse and technically demanding across a wide range of client sectors. The CDM Consultant will be focused on service delivery in Leeds, having a significant contribution on client satisfaction by providing a motivated and committed approach to the provision of H&S/CDM/Principal Designer services. So, if you are able to coordinate multiple aspects of programme delivery, build relationships with clients and have experience of successfully managing CDM projects. We provide a wide range of H&S services to our clients including the following: Principal Designer Principal Designer Advisor Independent Client Advisor Fire Safety Services Health and Safety Consultancy The Role: Working as part of a team to deliver the Principal Designer duty and CDM Advisor role Undertake site inspections and monitoring visits to determine health & safety compliance Attend project, design and other meetings, escalating issues as required by the project plan The role includes the capability to lead in the delivery of bid submissions. Development of new work and new clients, as well as maintenance of existing clients Ability to ensure projects are completed efficiently, to an agreed resource and commercial profile Advising clients on matters of Health & Safety standards and best practice affecting their business Develop the Health and Safety Service and assist in providing management financial reporting Experience required: Excellent communication, management and team working skills are required A thorough knowledge of the CDM regulations and associated legislation Educated to degree level in a construction related field with a preference for a design related degree NEBOSH Construction Certificate or similar technical / professional qualification, with a minimum 1 year's post qualification experience Ideally have a membership of the Association for Project Safety (IMaPS / CMaPS), with CDM 2015 Have a membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Ability to influence clients and contractors towards best industry practices Chair and coordinate design risk workshops / Produce and review risk registers

The role is predominantly home based with travel to sites across Dorset & Devon working as part of a national framework. So, if you are able to coordinate multiple aspects of programme delivery, build relationships with clients and have experience of successfully managing CDM projects. Title: Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Working hours: Monday - Friday Location: Kendal, Cumbria We are pleased to be partnering with a leading electricla engineering & manufacturing company to recruit a HSE Manager. This standalone role requires a confident and experienced Health, Safety & Environmental professional who can take full ownership of on-site HSE management and lead initiatives that drive continuous improvement. The role is for an intiial 2-3 month period but may extend beyond that. The Health, Safety & Environmental Manager Role: Lead proactive risk assessments and hazard identification to mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks on site. Develop, implement, and manage a tailored HSE Management Plan aligned with UK legislation and best practices. Ensure full legal compliance with all relevant HSE regulations, including CDM 2015. Deliver engaging and effective safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs to operatives and subcontractors. Investigate all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts, producing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Conduct frequent site inspections, audits, and safety walkdowns, maintaining accurate records and reports. Oversee environmental practices including waste management, pollution control, and energy efficiency measures. Champion a culture of continuous safety improvement and behavioural safety across the site. You ll Need: Previous experience of operating within a HSE appointment within a manufacturing or engineering setting Able to present and provide training to small and large teams NEBOSH or IOSH trained or equivalent Experienced of operating within a Continuous Improvement environment and applying Lean Principles Previous management experience and able to lead and influence teams Degree in relevant field would be advantageous, however not essential Proficient in Microsoft packages
