We are seeking an experienced Housing Officer to manage a patch of approximately (Apply online only) properties , delivering a high-quality housing management service to residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for tenancy management, rent collection and arrears recovery, allocations and voids management, resident engagement, and managing anti-social behaviour cases. You will work closely with support services and external stakeholders to help residents sustain their tenancies and build strong communities. Key Responsibilities Manage a designated housing patch and provide an effective tenancy management service. Maximise rental income and oversee rent and service charge collection. Manage arrears cases, including Housing Benefit and Universal Credit matters. Monitor and reduce void turnaround times. Investigate and manage ASB and tenancy breaches. Prepare and serve legal notices and complete pre-court documentation. Represent the organisation at court hearings and external meetings. About You Previous housing management experience. Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management practices. Experience in arrears recovery, financial inclusion and debt management. Experience of legal proceedings, court attendance or transferable enforcement experience. Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and organisational abilities.
