In the role you will be responsible for ensuring company health, safety and quality procedures are adhered to on site, managing the various subcontractors involved on the project. Applicants will require experience of working on new build residential schemes, liaising with the NHBC and must be capable of running the site as a stand-alone manager, capable of making decisions. It is important that you possess good communication and man management skills and the ability to work towards targets. Due to an increase in workload they are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join their existing team. In the role you will be required to visit and manage several remediation/enabling work sites overseeing the site management teams. You will require strong communication skills, be commercially aware, as well as comfortable liaising and negotiating with clients. Reporting to the board you will also be responsible for the training and development of the site management teams as well as the project programming and planning, and HSQ on site. Applicants are likely to come from a civil engineering or build background working for a specialist consultancy, contractor or subcontractor. It would be advantageous have a good understanding of remediation works however applicants with project or contract management in associated fields will also be considered.
