Duties: Manage all commercial aspects of projects from initial procurement through to final account settlement Prepare, review, and administer contracts, with a strong focus on JCT forms of contract Carry out cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting throughout the project lifecycle Procure subcontractors and suppliers, including preparation of tender documentation and evaluation of returns Manage valuations, variations, and change control processes Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, value completed works, and identify risks Prepare and submit interim valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts Negotiate and agree subcontractor accounts and manage payments Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery Produce accurate and timely commercial reports. Requirements: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry Strong working knowledge and practical experience of JCT contracts Demonstrable experience managing projects from procurement stage through to final account Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills Strong negotiation and communication abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Proficient in cost management and reporting tools/software Full UK driving licence Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field (preferred).
