Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Design & BIM Technician to join their team and play a key role in bringing exceptional projects to life. You will support projects from initial survey through to site delivery. Your Role Survey & Planning Carry out measured building and site surveys, translating information into accurate BIM models. Prepare planning drawings and support planning application submissions. Design & Technical Develop and maintain BIM models throughout concept, planning, technical design and delivery stages. Produce drawings, schedules and visualisations to support client decision-making. Generate quantities and material take-offs directly from BIM. Specify products and materials aligned with the design ethos and project requirements. Project Delivery Assist in procurement of sub-contract packages, preparing enquiries and assessing returns. Compile and issue clear, practical site information packs for construction teams. Provide technical support during the build to ensure design intent is met. Collaboration & Client Care Work closely with in-house designers, construction teams, consultants and suppliers. Liaise directly with clients, presenting drawings and technical information clearly. Contribute to design reviews and help resolve queries efficiently. What We re Looking For Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, planning policy and construction detailing. Experience preparing planning submissions, technical drawings and tender packages. Ability to extract accurate quantities and schedules from BIM. Strong communication skills with clients and office/site teams.
