Responsibilities Supervise daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and project specifications. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Lead safety briefings, conduct risk assessments, and enforce safety policies to uphold a secure working environment. Manage and mentor site personnel, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork. Oversee the implementation of site procedures and ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Monitor project timelines, identify potential delays or issues, and develop corrective action plans. Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality standards and work progress. Prepare detailed reports on site activities, safety incidents, and project milestones for senior management. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and improve operational workflows. Experience Proven landscaping supervising experience within construction or engineering environments. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and coordinate complex projects effectively. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to construction sites. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate diverse teams. Relevant certifications in construction supervision or health & safety are preferred. Immediate start available for experienced Site managers at Stansted airport. Qualifications needed to apply for this position. NVQ Level 6, SMSTS (5 day course), CSCS, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness and clean driving license. We are looking to speak to experienced site manager who have worked on high security projects before, someone who is confident enough to contribute to pre construction planning, is happy to manage / supervise a number of different teams and a collective, alongside mentoring other supervisors, managers who you will be working along side. This includes ensuring all ITPs, RAMS, permits and site documents are integrated into project straight before mobilization. Lead daily meetings, making sure teams / individuals are aware of daily duties and tasks and managing workforce allocation. Champion a safety fist culture, something that is vital working on airport projects, which could involve projects being both airside and landside. Working to targets and tight deadlines and much more, that can be discussed over phone calls with me. This position will usually be 7.30-5pm, Monday to Friday. 45 hours per week, however there could be times when projects are done at different times of the day. If you ever are asked to work after 5pm through to evening shifts, rates are paid at time and a half. This is something that could happen at short notice and frequently throughout the year.
