A new and interesting opportunity is available for a Facade and Cladding Project Manager to join a leading contractor in the delivery of specialist external envelope packages on a range of commercial and public sector projects across the Northwest. This key role will join a build main contractor where you will take ownership of a range of fa ade packages, including structural glazing, curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, brick slip systems, and SFS. Your key responsibilities will include, subcontractor interaction and direction, reviewing design and technical matters associated with said packages, QA and general safety associated with working at height. Therefore, those who fit the following criteria would be encouraged to apply; Have a proven track record operating either in a similar role with a main contractor or with a leading fa ade / cladding contractor. Good technical knowledge associated with cladding and fa ade systems, as well as the UK building regulations associated with them. A solution oriented communicator who focuses on collaboration, actively listening to stakeholders and articulating clear paths forward. Hold valid site certification including SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid IT literate. Full UK driving licence. A new lead Site Manager opportunity is available to join a growing and progressive refurb and fitout specialist, were works are both regionally and nationally distributed so those interested should be open to working away if required. Project profiles in the main cover retail and high street commercial orientated clients, so exposure to that type of work would be advantageous, where you will have a high level of client contact. The business is therefore interested recruiting capable Site Managers who can manage autonomously with the support of a visiting operations manager, leading projects day to day to successful completion. A lead Site Manager is required for a quick start to manage a 9 - 10 week fitout project based in Seaham, County Durham area. The project is for the refurbishment of an existing property, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management, including the quality and safe working practises of the sub-contractors on site, whilst working within a live environment. To be considered for the role you should fit the following criteria; Ability to work under minimal supervision as a project lead on a fitout project whilst operating within a live environment. Ideally have had a previous background delivering similar type projects. Comfortable operating with high levels of client interface. Hold strong all-round construction capability. Hold valid SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS certification. Available for a start from 15th October.
