About the CAD / Revit Design Engineer We are working with a family run Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Contractors who is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD/Revit Design Team Member to join their growing design team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with strong Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) knowledge who can produce accurate technical drawings, coordinated models, and design documentation for a range of building services projects primarily high rise residential. You will work closely with the design manager, engineers, project managers etc. to deliver high-quality designs from concept through to construction. Key Responsibilities of the CAD / Revit Design Engineer Produce and develop 2D CAD drawings and 3D Revit models for mechanical and electrical building services projects. Prepare coordinated layouts for HVAC, plumbing, power, lighting, fire alarms, and associated systems. Update drawings/models in line with design changes, client comments, and project requirements. Assist in clash detection and coordination with architectural, structural, and specialist trades. Ensure drawings comply with project scope, specification, industry standards, regulations, and company procedures. Generate schedules, technical documentation, and as-built drawings from hand marked drawings or visiting site and taking dimensions. Support engineers during design development and project delivery stages. Maintain accurate project files and revision control. Attend project coordination meetings as required Requirements of CAD / Revit Design Engineer Proven experience in a CAD / Revit role within building services or M&E design. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. Good understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, pipework, ventilation, plumbing). Good understanding of electrical systems (power, lighting, containment, fire/security systems). Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Experience with BIM coordination and clash detection tools is desirable. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Desirable Qualifications of CAD / Revit Design Engineer Relevant engineering, construction, or design qualification. BIM certification or Revit accreditation. Experience working on residential projects. Job Summary for Estimator We are seeking an experienced and proactive Estimator to join our growing client. You will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of accurate and competitive tenders for projects involving land remediation, bulk earthworks, and minor civil engineering. You will have competence to interpret complex tender documentation and contribute strategic insights and innovative approaches to bid processes. You will work Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm. The location of this role is not fixed as our client has projects nationwide. Key Responsibilities for Estimator Review and assess incoming tender documentation, including specifications, drawings, surveys, and contract terms. Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions in collaboration with operational, technical, and commercial teams. Engage with clients, consultants, supply chain partners, and internal teams to clarify project requirements and gather necessary information. Identify value engineering opportunities and propose innovative solutions to enhance competitiveness. Undertake site visits and attend pre-tender meetings where required. Maintain a strong awareness of market rates, subcontractor pricing, and industry trends. Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating tools, systems, and internal processes. Key Skills and Competencies for Estimator Proven experience in estimating roles within the remediation, earthworks, and/or minor civils sectors. Relevant qualifications in construction, civil engineering, or quantity surveying (desirable). Experience with NEC contracts and public sector tenders (desirable).
