Company - FM division ( 10m T/O) of a Leeds based group of M&E companies who have a total turnover of c 100m. FM client base includes managing agents, gyms and commercial office units. The Role - As a maintenance contact manager, you will manage a team of mobile heating, air-conditioning and electrical maintenance engineers who carry out planned and reactive maintenance for gyms, offices and high end residential (common areas only) clients - your portfolio will be a value of up to c 1.5m . You will manage the engineers / clients on a daily basis and ensure service delivery standards (SLA's and KPI's) are met. You have P&L responsibility for your portfolio. The Person - You will ideally have a mechanical or background and have experience of managing a team of maintenance engineers in a commercial FM environment. The Opportunity The majority of projects are delivered through frameworks and repeat clients, with schemes typically 80-90% designed before reaching the estimating team. This creates a more structured and predictable environment, allowing you to focus on producing high-quality estimates rather than dealing with constant last-minute tender deadlines and heavily contested bids. You'll be responsible for preparing mechanical estimates, analysing tender documentation and engaging with the supply chain to secure competitive and compliant quotations. Typical project values range from 2m to 18m M&E, with an average project size of 4m- 5m. The Role: This is a semi site based role where you will predominantly be located 3/4 days a week across a large multi-use highly prestigous flagship estate (leisure / sport / training facilities / offices) in North West London, and 1 / 2 days mobile in the surrounding areas. You will carry out maintenance, compliance and remedial works of water systems and associated services. The position will involve, but will not be limited to, the following: Water sampling Temperature monitoring Descaling of shower head and hoses. TMV servicing Tank cleans and inspections Endoscopic inspection of calorifiers Mains injection pipework chlorination works The Person: You will take pride in the work and the service you deliver, have a good level of computer skills and have a positive attitude and work ethic. Previous experience in a similar role is essential and you will have a full UK driving license. It is essential you also have water tower experience.
