Company: A reputable Leeds based D&B M&E contractor (T/O c 10m) with a long trading history, who provide Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Design and Installation Service to the Industrial, Commercial, Retail, Leisure, Private and Public sectors. Clients worked with include Rolls Royce, Ministry of Defense, HSBC, Dupont, Carlsberg and many other blue chip companies as well as the public sector. Typical projects range in value between 1m and 4m (M&E value). The Role: You will be site based, initially in Sheffield for a student accommmodation new build project, responsible for supervising mechanical building services installations including pipework, ductwork, hot and cold water and air conditioning. Early/ mid 2027, you will be responsible for a similar student accommodation project in Leeds. Future work will almost exclusively be in Yorkshire You will be responsible for all mechanical elements on site, liaising with the project manager/engineer and the principal contractor. You will manage the program, submit materials requests as required, ensure safe systems of work, oversee both direct and sub-contract labour and help to ensure the project runs within time and quality constraints. The Person: Previous experience of supervising commercial mechanical installations at site level. Non-working experience and supervision of trades is essential. It is essential that you have basic computer skills and can use Microsoft /preferably site Audit Pro. The Salary: 37.5 hours at 23.59 9 hours at 35.39 (which at x time and a half) Average Hours per week - 46.5 hours Average hourly rate - 25.87 Travel paid for travel to site for miles over 15 from head office Earnings Per Annum Basic Rate: 46,000.50 Time and Half: 16,562.52 Total: 62,563.02 Holidays - 22 + 8 Bank Holidays 1 week for Spring 2 weeks for Summer 7 days for Christmas 8 Stats / Bank Holidays Pension 3% employer / 5% employee On site parking paid where applicable

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing contractors, overseeing maintenance activities, analysing CAFM data, and ensuring high standards of service delivery across the estate. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all reactive maintenance activities across the portfolio. Utilise the CAFM system to monitor maintenance requests, contractor performance, and asset information. Review and assess contractor quotations, challenging costs where appropriate and ensuring value for money. Obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Monitor the quality of completed works and ensure compliance with required standards. Oversee subcontractors on-site and ensure works are carried out safely and efficiently. Analyse CAFM and maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Build effective working relationships with subcontractors and service providers. Conduct contractor performance reviews and assist in managing service levels. Carry out occasional travel to Manchester to support the management of the wider portfolio.
