We are looking for a Deputy Head of Architecutre to join PM Group working for us on a hybrid working arrangement based out of our Birmingham or Manchester offices. Job Titte: Deputy Head of Architecture Location: Birmingham or Manchester Contract: Full Time - Permanent Responsibilities You will be supporting the UK Head of Architecture in leading and managing the Architecture team, ensuring operational delivery and ensuring high-quality delivery across all projects. You will oversee resource planning, team management, technical leadership, and client engagement, while contributing to the strategic development and long-term growth of the Architectural capability in the UK. In addition to team leadership, you will take responsibility for selected strategic projects, foster strong client relationships, contribute to business development, and champion best practice, quality, and continuous improvement across the discipline. Qualifications Qualified Architect with professional accreditation (ARB / RIBA or equivalent). Significant experience operating as a Principal Architect or equivalent, in Pharmaceutical and/or Data Centre sectors Proven experience leading teams, mentoring staff, and driving accountability across a multidisciplinary architectural or A&E environment. Evidence of contributing to strategic initiatives or departmental development. Demonstrated capability in managing senior client stakeholders and building long-term relationships. Experience with commercial elements of projects including fee proposals, scope definition, and project financial management. Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to operate confidently at senior levels.
