We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager in the Abingdon area on a 3-month contract , with an immediate start available . This is a fully office-based role , so candidates must be comfortable working in an office environment and have basic administrative and IT skills , along with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings . Key Responsibilities: Managing electrical projects from start to completion Reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications Coordinating with clients, engineers, and site teams Monitoring project progress, budgets, and timelines Preparing reports, schedules, and documentation Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards Requirements: Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager (or similar role) Strong understanding of electrical systems and project delivery Ability to read and understand technical drawings Good organisational and communication skills Basic office/IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, email, document management) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Details: Location: Abingdon (office-based) Contract: 3 months Start: ASAP Rate/Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) If you are available immediately and looking for a short-term opportunity in a professional environment, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking a confident, hands-on Quarry Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our site located close to Guildford. This role is responsible for managing site operations, ensuring efficient production, and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance. You will lead and develop the site team, support operational planning through accurate reporting, and ensure all activities comply with company procedures and statutory obligations. Key Responsibilities • Lead and motivate the team to work safely and efficiently while maximising productivity • Ensure compliance with planning permissions, environmental permits, and company policies • Supervise material processing and monitor performance against production targets • Maintain high health, safety, and environmental standards including risk assessments and safe systems of work • Support HR procedures and investigations alongside the Operations Director • Act as responsible person in emergency situations • Complete accurate daily reports and site records • Oversee preventative maintenance and defect reporting for plant and equipment • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure working environment • Provide operational support and cover at other sites when required About You • Proven leadership experience within quarrying, aggregates, or mining • Statutory 8.1(c) qualification and relevant NVQ • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills • Competent with Microsoft Office and reporting systems • Willingness to operate mobile plant when required (dozers, dumpers, loading shovels) • First Aid at Work (or willingness to obtain) • Full UK driving licence What We Offer • Salary from £50,000+ depending on experience • Company pension scheme • 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) • Opportunities for professional development • Supportive and inclusive working environment • Free on-site parking Full Time From £55,000 + depending on experience Location: Guildford area (on-site) If interested then please apply online or get in touch with LNS in the office.
