The role will see you provide on-site support to the Site Manager, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with the build programme and to specified company and company standards. ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES: Control of all labour on site including direct and sub-contract to ensure that activities are coordinated on a plot by plot basis and as scheduled on the build programme. Monitoring of all site activities, direct labour and sub-contract packages to ensure that operations are carried out in strict accordance with the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan . Ensure that site security is adequate and maintained at all times including traffic management, prevention of theft and general public access Provide cover during periods when Site Manager is off site or for meetings, holiday cover or sickness where required ASSISTANT SITE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS: Experience working in a similar role, ideally with a Housebuilder Ability to plan, organise and monitor sub-contract activity on a day by day basis. By enhancing both the technical expertise and broader skillsets of our teams, this role will contribute directly to improving build quality, operational consistency, and customer satisfaction across the business CONSTRUCTION SITE TRAINER RESPONSIBILITIES: Create, develop, and maintain high-quality training programmes for Miller Homes Production and Site teams, ensuring compliance and competency requirements are consistently met. Deliver induction training modules at designated hub locations for new and existing Production and Site staff. Organise and manage key training programmes, including site management development initiatives and Production and Site focused modules. Conduct site visits to coach and support learners in their working environment, ensuring learning is embedded into day-to-day practice. CONSTRUCTION SITE TRAINER REQUIREMENTS: Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively, and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Proven experience in designing and delivering learning programmes across the full learning cycle. Experience delivering structured training within Construction Site Management. Self-sufficient and highly motivated, with excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
